Cassava Roots in McAllen is a mall favorite, known for its boba tea. Some find it a bit pricey, but the friendly staff offers great recommendations. The slushy matcha bubble tea is a popular choice, despite being small. First-time boba drinkers are impressed by the tailored recommendations and delicious drinks. The opening of a new store in Mercado district shows their growing popularity.
