Expecting a nice turkey, dressing, and sweet potato meal it arrived COLD! The waiter brought it back to warm it up and this time it was hot. Thanks.This was the worse restaurant food I have ever eaten. The turkey did not taste like turkey and the gravey and dressing were overly salted.Our water glasses were never refilled. I will never return to this restaurant again. My wife had the taco pancakes and they were overly greasy.

Jammed with people, the taste of the food leaves a lot to be desired, the waiter was super attentive, but the service was slow, the coffee was average. I left this place somewhat disappointed, it promised more. Delicious hashbrown dad and hotcakes
My friend and I go to Cracker Barrel about twice a month or 3 because we love the atmosphere and food. We go to the one in Harlingen and McAllen depending where we want to shop afterwards. (The only time I go out is when my friend and I get out for breakfast and shop) March was my birthday month, my friend paid last time so my birthday did not come up on our bill. This time it was my turn to pay and I mentioned that I still had a coupon for my birthday for either a cake or Peach Cobbler. I was told that they only gave ice cream for birthday's - I couldn't order it as I am Lactose Intolerance. I had read up on the ingredients on the Peach Cobbler and I was able to eat it as it had Soy. So no Birthday dessert.My scrambled egg was not fully cooked. I forgot to mention (I believe) that I wanted the fried apples as I'm allergic to the other sides. It came with hash browns - I thought it was just plain potatoes but when I took a bite it had cheese. No I didn't take it back as I didn't recall if I actually asked for the fried apples.Thank you for listening. This is the second time we visit and we receive cold food. Cold butter cracking on cold pancakes. Freezing sides and a 1 hour wait time for food to come out. There were flies all around. Hard to want to come back after this experience.
