Good food but horrible service. Ordered to go on phone, got to restaurant on time and still waited another 20 minutes. Dude giving me food proceeds to give attitude back as if I was the one that was wrong.

I don't know what it is about taco places but the pricing has gotten ridiculous for the mediocre food that is given. This place was not good, here are some key points from my takeout order: 1. 6 matamoros tacos (w veggies and salsa), a cup of beans, and a small limonada for $16 is crazy 2. Tacos were barely warm when picked up and cold by the time I got home 3. Beans were lukewarm when picked up and cold by the time I got home 4. Limonada was lukewarm and cold from the ice by the time I got home 5. Beans were over salted 6. Cilantro was not good quality and was turning black (guess they don't quality check?) 7. Limonada was 16oz
TLDR: Over hyped and overpriced, don't go here. They should quality check their fresh products and have a method of keeping outgoing food stay warm.
BEWARE!!! Bought a single soda, Restaurant added a additional tip on their own after I left and now I’m disputing with my credit card company

Hablé para hacer un pedido de tacos de birria y pregunté específicamente que si traía cebolla asada y me dijeron que si. Voy por los tacos y venían los tacos solos sin verdura y sin nada. Hablo por teléfono y me dicen “si aquí se quedó la verdura”. Voy por ella y veo que no tiene cebolla asada. Me regreso y les digo y me dicen “los tacos de birria no tienen cebolla asada” cuando específicamente la misma persona me dijo que si. Al rato van a salir con lo que los tacos de birria no llevan birria. De por sí de que las salsas que dan son miserables. Dos botecitos de 2 cucharadas cada uno, todavía no te ponen la verdura que debe llevar. Pésimo lugar. El lugar estaba solo porque en lo que llegue a mi casa y me regrese ya estaban cerrando. Ahí estaba el “manager” que vio toda la interacción y no dijo absolutamente nada. Pésimo servicio a cliente también.

First time trying it and ordered it to go, charro beans, rice (was extra cost to add), and the trompo tacos were sooooo good😍 came with grilled onions and cilantro/onions in a separate baggie... I found my go-to taco spot😍

First time on McAllen Texas and this restaurant hit the spot! If you want real Mexican food this is one of the places you should stop at. The Charro beans are given before a meal, they’re absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The taco combo was very good and comes with a good portion of tacos, charro beans, a loaded baked potato, grilled onions on the side and a can soda for $12.99. You can’t beat those prices for that much food! Thank you for your service lastnight the atmosphere was comfortable and we loved being outside.
