Rooms: Rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a suite - the bathroom and bedroom were separated on the other side of the room and then a kitchen area and living room.Safety: Felt very safe at this hotel. There was no issue with our cards for our rooms, and they checked our IDs as well as there was a driver to and from the hotel to the airport.Walkability: Great hotel in walling distance to so many restaurants and shops! We walked down to dinner at a new restaurant each day.Food & drinks: There is an On The Border restaurant inside the hotel, so the food was pretty good. Breakfast- must-have are the hand-made omelets, delicious. Room service was also great and super easy to use.

I have stayed at this particular Embassy Suites in McAllen before and it was great expect for the night customer service. It absolutely sucks!!! My last visit the female night front employee was absolutely rude! And one again, the night front desk service is absolutely horrible! When you book a room weeks in advance you expect to get what you paid for! My accommodation were changed and they didn’t even have the courtesy to ask me if the accommodation that were giving me would serve my needs adequately. Especially since we drove over five hours to get here. But despite the negligence and utter rudeness of the night front desk staff, the morning front desk staff are very nice and a complete breathe of fresh air compared to the night staff. Would have given this hotel a better review but they would need new evening front desk staff for that. When I asked why I was given three different stories. They was told it was my fault I wasn’t notified because I asked a question after she looked up my reservation. I simply have no words!!! will never come back here ever again!

Hilton's Embassy Suites in McAllen, TexasI've never had a better stay than this one.Kindly take note of the attached photos.Everything is really simple to use with the app. Even if your reservation is made months in advance of your actual arrival, the chat feature begins as soon as you book. Either Maximilian or Jorge responds to the chat request almost immediately.They fulfill all of the requests.When I arrived, I used the app to check in and get my digital room key! There's no need to go to reception. But I did manage to obtain the card keys. The personnel was incredibly courteous and competent.The suite was fantastic. Perfectly tidy, with extremely safe doors, the bathroom was spacious and cozy. There were many of towels. large, bright mirrors. The bedroom was large, with spotless pillows and blankets. It was even larger in the living room! The kitchen was nearly finished, including a fantastic coffee maker and microwave. Large sink with lots of storage. The comforting sound of the air conditioner was quiet.Overall, the lighting was excellent, and there were plenty of power outlets and charging connections.The fact that you can't hear the people in the rooms above or to your sides is really impressive. However, one evening, the family whose suite was above mine had kids, and they were bouncing around and making loud noises. I texted the front desk, and ten minutes later, I was given the option to switch to a different suite, or if I preferred, they offered to move the family to another suite. I stayed, and everything went smoothly. Amazing personnel (Jorge)!.The cleaning of the room was done quickly, effectively, and competently.The meeting rooms were excellent. The restaurant has excellent food, quick service, and lovely inside and outdoor seating, which made it quite appealing. The daily complimentary breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of delectable options.The hotels outside are wonderful; they are spotless and have lots of electric car chargers. The performing arts complex and a stunning set of water falls are in the vicinity. There is a good selection of shops and restaurants at the nearby mall, which is conveniently walkable. The hotel has lots of paths for jogging and walking. gorgeous landscape.All the facilities were present, and the pool was one-fourth the size of an Olympic pool.The gym was decent; two treadmills weren't working, but the other two were in good condition and only required oiling because they were making loud, screeching noises. The stationary bikes and several elliptical machines were in excellent condition.Almost every other day, the staff sends the guest a chat message to make sure everything is alright.The one thing that every Embassy Suites hotel lacks is a balcony to enjoy during the evening and dusk, as the weather was fantastic.All in all, this was an excellent experience.Safety: Extremely safeWalkability: Plenty of walking and beautifully kept walking and jogging trailsFood & drinks: The on-site restaurant was awesome please see my review
