Gloria Jean’s Coffees has friendly staff, but service can be hit or miss. Orders for two drinks and a pastry took a surprisingly long time, even when there was only one person. The service was the worst part, and the restaurant often seems understaffed, with one person running both drive-thru and walk-in customers while making drinks. This leaves little space or energy to be cheerful and friendly. Drinks and food are good, though a large mocha Voltage Chiller was a good size serving and not overly sweet. However, coffee should be well blended, as ice chunks can stock the straw. The classic Coco Loco was too watery and melted very quickly, with a consistency that was not there. The interior is always clean with comfortable and inviting ambiance, but it is literally so hot inside, with lots of flies. One customer was told they could only be inside for 5 minutes on a Friday at 7:30pm. Plenty of parking is available.
