They run out of items. I attempted to order the jackfruit burger, but it was out of stock. They offered the lentil burger instead which I was less thrilled with. I had ordered online and mustard and cheese wasn’t listed on the ingredients as I would have changed to no mustard. The cheese was vegan, when I called to confirm. The burger was…fine. It was okay on taste, a bit messy to eat, but that’s expected of a lentil burger.

This restaurant does not stay open according to its hours that are posted on the website and the front entrance, which is 8:00 PM. I traveled to the location after calling to make sure it was open. I arrived at approximately 7:15 PM and the location was closed. This would have been my first time trying this vegan restaurant.

Our experience at the Green Owl was great. The food was delicious, menu unique, service delightful. They were out of a few different things I wanted to try but it wasn’t a big deal. We will just have to go back another time! I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because I did feel a bit like I was walking into someone’s house as it’s a family owned business, but I was quickly impressed by the food that I felt comfortable soon afterwards. Thank you! We will be back!

My stuffed potato was fantastic. Everything was ready for pickup when we came in. I wish they showed their desserts on the to go menu as we probably would have tried them had we known. So glad to have a vegan restaurant here!

We stopped by here on our way through McAllen, and I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great vegan place! My daughters had the black bean flautas, my husband had the turkey sandwich and I had the strawberry salad. All was delicious! We also got a couple of juices to split- a green & a carrot & mango- both were very good and fresh. Prices were on point for the quality.

I recommend the vegan enchiladas! Delicious The inside was very cutely decorated, felt like a cool place to grab lunch with a friend. The staff was nice enough to even walk my order to me since I work in the same plaza.

I purchased their carrot cake and it was very tasty. The cake was moist, had a nice carrot flavor with some cinnamon and nutmeg and it had some whipped cream on top. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a healthy and tasty dessert! I had previously had their pistachio cake and that is also good. The size is one small cake is about 4 inches in diameter. Enough for 2 people and it is under $5. Customer service was also good. The cashier was polite and friendly.

I didn't love it. But it was tasty. The vegan option I tried was a veggie burger. I thought the patty was just a spread of smashed vegetables.It's healthy and tasty but the texture was horrible.Floppy , soggy and wonky.. if the patty was firmer I would think about returning....I did love the service. The are amazing at customer service..

I am finding some great restaurants that serve vegan and vegetarian food here in the Valley We found this place via Yelp and decided to try - so glad we did. It was a great choice for lunch with fast, friendly service. Great menu for vegans and meat eaters alike with lots of options!! We began with a dip and cracker starter featuring Lebneh which is a soft cheese made from strained yogurt - it was delicious as were the two sauces that accompanied the dish. Then I had the Owl salad with Lebneh, strawberries and a delicious strawberry sauce. It was fresh, delicious and the perfect size. We ended by trying their vegan carrot cake which was very good! Will definitely visit here again!
