It was our first time at this vegan restaurant. We decided to dine here after reading all great reviews about this place. Food was so delicious and fresh. If I would recommend one thing from this restaurant it would be their vegan tamales. Nacho plate and tacos are delicious too. Service is pretty quick and staff is very friendly.
They run out of items. I attempted to order the jackfruit burger, but it was out of stock. They offered the lentil burger instead which I was less thrilled with. I had ordered online and mustard and cheese wasn’t listed on the ingredients as I would have changed to no mustard. The cheese was vegan, when I called to confirm. The burger was…fine. It was okay on taste, a bit messy to eat, but that’s expected of a lentil burger.
Our experience at the Green Owl was great. The food was delicious, menu unique, service delightful. They were out of a few different things I wanted to try but it wasn’t a big deal. We will just have to go back another time! I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because I did feel a bit like I was walking into someone’s house as it’s a family owned business, but I was quickly impressed by the food that I felt comfortable soon afterwards. Thank you! We will be back!
