Whoa! This place is a hidden foodie treat! Amazing lamb chops, the burrata app is amazing, and bomboloni desert is a surprise that you NEED! Zach is awesome at the bar, and friendly Chantelle provided the recommendations above. If you're in McAllen, go to House Wine and Bistro!

Great dinner! I sat at the small,3 chair bar and the bartender Celeste made a great old fashion and gave some great suggestion on the menu. I had the escargot to start...delicious and lots of garlic. I ordered the lamb lollipops medium rare at Celeste's suggestion. Excellent and cooked perfectly. I will return for more escargot and to try other things on the menu.

I'm updating my review from a year ago. While this restaurant has been a favorite of mine, I've noticed some inconsistencies in the kitchen lately. I visit frequently and stick to a few favorite dishes. I was thrilled to see they now offer to-go and lunch options, but I've been disappointed with my recent takeout experiences.
