One of our favorite places to have Mexican food in McAllen. The front staff is not always super peppy, but the rest of the staff has always been great!

Really wanted to enjoy this place that was supposed to be really good… we paid $60 for two people for.. This review comes after I woke up at 3 AM vomiting all my food out. The food was pretty basic and could have gotten it cheaper somewhere else with the same quality. The lemonade was pretty good and the rice was my favorite from the plate. Sorry but won’t be going back.

It's been way too long since we've eaten here and the food is just as good as we remember. All staff we encountered were very friendly. We were greeted when we walked in, immediately shown to a table, and Amado, our server, walked up to take our drink order. I ordered the Mexican plate and husband had the cheese enchilada plate. Food was excellent and this was a very good experience. As we left, one of the staff held the door for us and thanked us for coming.

When in the valley, this is one of my go to's for Mexican food. I love the bean and cheese nachos. Generous portion of bean and cheese deliciousness. My husband ordered the Koko special this time and commented on the small tender chunks of fajita wrapped in a soft, fresh, flour tortilla. So good.
