There's better BBQ places out there. First time we wanted to try it out I called to place an order and they kept me on hold so long I had to hang up. Then when I finally got to try it the food was not even warm. The bread for my brisket sandwich was just two plain slices of bread. While Aces BBQ gives you buttered up toasted buns for their sandwiches. Charro beans had almost no flavor as well. Nothing about the overall experience made me want to try it a second time.

When I saw my plate I was like no way I'll be feeling full after eating this but I did and it was good food, I'll definitely be back to try another type of brisket, service was phenomenal.

I ordered the po-boy and it gave me nostalgic vibes. The chopped brisket tasted like an old-school Sloppy Joe, that was the nostalgic taste. The sliced brisket was tasty and had great flavor, and the sausage cut was full of flavor as well. Will visit

2 meat plate brisket and ribs. Chips, beans and rice.Brisket was good on its own. Not too much fat, not overcooked. Chips were home made and very good. Beans and rice were a little bland (put bbq sauce in them and they were great)Service was good and food came out in a timely fashion.Resturant was air conditioned, but kept a little warm. Good music in the background (80s)Parking: More parking in back.

This is my go to bbq place in the rgv. Usually get the 3 meat plate with sides. The homemade peach cobbler is crazy good! Top it off with some ice cream and you wont regret it. This place has held up a long while for a reason. Hit them up! 8.8/10

Fast service and good BBQ. I tried the special two prime rib sliders. They were delicious. The downfall was the A/C wasn’t working.
