The seafood boil was great! Went on a Tuesday and had the special, it's enough for two people. Very tasty! Our server was great.

At Mr. Crabby’s Cajun Seafood Restaurant, I was impressed by the variety on the menu and all the different seafood options available. What really caught my attention were the seafood boils—they were packed with flavor and well-seasoned. I was also very impressed with the timing of the food and the great service I received as soon as I arrived. Overall, a delicious experience with friendly hospitality!

Food was descent and hot but what really killed my experience was when I went to the bathroom a waiter walked out right behind me w/o washing his hands after using the bathroom and went straight to a table where his customers were sitting and continued waiting on his section like nothing. That just groced me out. Thank God he wasn't waiting on my table and we were just needing to pay our tab and ready to leave. Probably won't ever go back.

Lovely place. Food was ready fast. The singer that was performing when I went sang very well. I enjoyed my first visit there.

I was here on a Sunday evening and there was a long wait for a table. There was no hostess for a long time. When the hostess finally came, she ignored all of the guests. I told her I would like a table for one and she just pointed at the waitlist on the table without saying a word.

I ordered the boiled crawfish. The seasoning was fine, but the crawfish was dry, stringy and tough. It tasted like it was freezer burnt and had gone bad. They also charge $8 for a large draft Modelo, which is way more expensive than other restaurants in McAllen. Service was ok besides my encounter with the hostess. I wouldn’t come again because of the quality of the seafood and overpriced beer.

Bar closed at 9:46. Spent over $300 and was never told about last call! They don't have salads or bread. Food and overall service was good.
Restrooms were a mess!!

first time coming here and wowwwww! first off, shout out to our server Pamela. give that girl a raiseeeee🥹 she was the sweetest ever, extremely helpful and really guided us throughout the whole menu!
the environment was amazing, pretty loud but enjoyable, we were able to witness some live music.
food was on poinntttttt, loved it! our food also came out pretty fast :)
10/10 recommend if you've been seeing all those seafood boils on your tiktok fyp and you're craving one!

We ordered 4lb of boiled shrimp and snow crab legs, the sauce was good altough it was a little salty, the sausage was not good at all, it tasted poor and very bad quality meat, we also ordered a basket of fries and they were very hard and with no flavor. They kept announcing in one of the Tv’s that they offered a hibiscus margarita and i asked for one, they brought me a passionfruit margarita without telling me they didn’t have the hibiscus one and they didn’t ask if i would like another flavor, i dont like passion fruit and I asked to change it and they told me the bar was about to close.
The waitress kept pushing us to finish quickly the meal and she brought the check without asking her, we asked for more lemonade and she brought it in cups to-go, she also asked us if we wanted the food to go even we were still eating. We know they close at 10 but it wasnt even 9:45 pm, why they accept more clients at 9 if they were going to kick us out quickly. The food was good but the service was very disappointing, we WILL NOT be coming back!!

Order to go and crawfish tasted horrible. Shrimp overcooked. The sausage tasted gross. The only good thing was the steamed rice. The sauce was okay. I rather stick to surfing crab.

came here for my first time excited to try. when we walked in the host automatically gave us attitude we walked towards the table and she slapped the menus on the table and walked away. The waitress came by and walked towards her and they both started laughing while looking at us. Once the waitress came by us we respectfully asked her if we can get a booth and she smiled at the host and said ummm then pointed towards the booth and didnt lead us towards the booth! we had to sit in whatever booth we saw since she left us unattended. when we sat by the table we asked her if they served tilapia. She laughed and rolled her eyes at us and said um no. Never coming back again! Thanks!!
