“This is our third time here. The wait to be seated was 15 min, which was fine. The waiter and I couldn't hear each other. There were so many tvs going with different programs. One is enough? The service was great, and the food came out in a timely manner even though it was a busy Friday night.
We ordered:
1. Queso dip - good, but order with no tortillas and more chips.
2. Burger - good as expected
3. Cobb salad with shrimp- good, but the shrimp were overcooked.

“One of my favorite restaurants in McAllen“

“We are new to the Valley and are searching the little gems. We found one at Santa Fe. The steaks were great. My spouse had the filet, cooked to perfection medium rare and velvet smooth. I went for the ribeye. Same results, perfectly cooked. Both steaks had flame char. Our server, Poppy, was divine. She was so helpful and attentive. We will be back.“

“I recommend La Eloteca when you’re craving that “elote en vaso” fix. I like that you have several topping options to enjoy that treat. However, folks.. Please have your food prep staff/workers change gloves after handling money or touching the checkout screen. The same checkout screen your customers touch. I was so turned off that I had to remind the female worker to change her gloves after she handled cash, the screen, then touched the opening of the bottle where the crema and mayo come out of. That’s cross contamination. She needs to retake that food handlers course again.“

“Today was my first time trying bison and I really enjoyed the burger. Their air fries are very good as well. Way better than deep fried. Their sweet potato brownies were delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We definitely recommend.“

“El Divino is one of our very favorite places to eat. The food and drinks are consistently excellent (since 2013!) and the restaurant is beautiful with a separate room for private functions. The fillet and Brussels sprouts are the best in McAllen and the burger is very good - it’s the dish visiting friends remember when we take them there. Make sure to ask for Jess, our favorite server, for a great dining experience. She always remembers our drink order, makes us feel so welcome, and is a huge part of why we keep coming back.“

Our server was a young girl fer was attentive in everything we needed didn't have to ask for refills perfect customer service Our food was fresh then theres a dj at night which is awesome!!! “First time at this restaurant and a great experience, especially being a little skeptical because times we would pass by the restaurant it usually had an empty parking lot. The service was great, very attentive, polite and helpful. Willing to bring samples of sauces to decide which flavor to order. There were several screens on sports but yet a family oriented atmosphere. We ordered Sweet Smokin’ onion rings, 15 traditional wings (5 of Lemon Pepper, Sweet Habanero and Korean flavors). The wings were well cooked and full of flavor and closely followed the heat chart. The fries were also good. We will be back.“
