I really love coming here when I'm in McAllen.
Great high quality food. Service is top notch. Recently sat at the bar and I have never seen two bartenders in such sync before. Was fun to watch.

We had a couple of mixology cocktails, and all I can say is WOW. Jorge, our bartender, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. Jordan, the manager, was just as wonderful, kind, and genuinely passionate about what she does. You can truly tell she cares about creating a great experience for every guest. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing 5-star experience at Prime Steak & Seafood for my 16th birthday! The food was excellent, and Oscar provided outstanding service that made the celebration even more special. I’ll definitely be back!

Everything about my visit to Prime was amazing. The hostess was friendly and made me feel very welcomed. Jordan was a big help and gave me wonderful recommendations. 10/10 would visit again. ☺

Great food and service as always! My family and I (we were a group of 8) came out for a birthday dinner for my dad. The restaurant looks so moody and elegant. The attention to detail was my favorite, from purse stands to table service, everything was taken care of beautifully. We felt like we were out of the RGV and transported somewhere else! Our server let us know that they are going to have a new happy hour menu coming out within a week or two and a NEW menu! We are so excited to come back and see what else they have to offer. Definitely a perfect place for special occasions. 10/10 would recommend!

Dined here for the first time with my boyfriend and we were blown away by the food and service. They are under new management now and you can see that the new owners are putting a lot of effort into the place. The remodeling is gorgeous, the new cocktail list is delicious (has pictures for you to see), and the food was beautifully presented! Can't wait to come back.

Had a wonderful experience at Prime, we heard about the new management/ownership and it has transformed this restaurant in so many ways. My server Matthew was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. They just remodeled as well and it's so much more ambient and comfortable now, definitely will be back soon

I attended the restaurant while on a business trip. I'm not normally one to write reviews, but Prime Steak & Seafood is the exception! The atmosphere was warmly inviting; the place was lit into a warm glow. I ordered the New York strip (medium rare, of course), and not only was the steak cooked exactly to my liking but it was beautifully presented. Christina, my server was fantastic! She was knowledgeable of the menu (especially about the cocktails and wines!) and was an intellectual conversationalist, which definitely brought something unique to my experience. All in all, I would recommend Prime to locals and out-of-towners alike!

I’m from out of town and heard about this place from the front desk at the hotel. As per the servers request I had a bone-in filet and baked potato. The steak was delicious as was the starter bread. This is a nice place to stop for a quiet dinner after a long day of travel. Our server Christina was accommodating, helpful, and so sweet.
