This cafe offers excellent specials on certain days and the service is wonderful with very nice servers. Be careful to watch pricing though. One server was ringing us up but our actual waitress had to correct the cashier of what was actually served. Just be careful. Great place we will return often.

This is the only food choice in the McAllen airport, but that doesn't mean that it's bad. In fact, its pretty decent. The food is on the level of about any airport restaurant anywhere: decent, not amazing. The prices aren't horrible. Granted, I would not normally eat here as I would wait until Houston or Dallas where there is more selection, but if you have a delay and are here longer than expected you can get a decent burger or sandwich here to hold you over.
