Visited Handel's tonite with family. EVERYONE behind the counter was energetic, fun and willing to serve! The ice cream was amazing too! Will be back!

Had never been here before but will be back!! Great selection of flavors ?. The associates were so friendly and helpful. They were offering tastes, explaining how their servings are and overall so nice!! I tried so many flavors and did not find one that was not delicious, which made choosing very difficult but worth it.
This Is my third time as a customer at this location. Each time I have came here these young ladies truly doesn't give you what you paying for. I asked them to pack the quart of ice cream so that it doesn't melt fast. Clearly I was told that it was done until I received my purchase and had to ask again for them to pack it. I also noticed that this location has no Diversity at all. Maybe this is one of the reasons that these young ladies get really nervous when you give certain instructions about how u may want to received your purchase. Shame on Handel in 2024 that this buisness lack any Diversity to bridge the Gap when it comes to dealing with a bunch of different CULTURES especially living in Mckinney Texas.

This is a place I'd been meaning to check out and I'm so glad we finally did. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with suggestions. The black cherry was absolutely delicious! Big chunks of cherries and the base ice cream is delicious on it's own. They had a special when we went that was the cherry base ice cream, chocolate chunks, and brownies. Everything about it was good except the brownie mixed it - it was really mushy and became a texture issue for me. The mint chocolate chip, and praline pecan were good too. Looking forward to trying more flavors. Very casual, limited seating.

I cannot express the amount of disappointment and frustration my husband and I feel tonight towards this company. Tuesday nights are our “splurge” nights. We both have Wednesday’s off work. Tonight we excitedly chose Handle’s to order ice cream from. This was our first experience with the company and upon seeing all of the positive reviews we decided this would be a “no fail” scenario. After we made our oder (over $20 dollars) we waited for 30 minutes. Unfortunately We never received our ice cream. I feel very frustrated that our hard earned money went towards nothing. I would like my money back but have yet to receive it. I do not recommend ordering from this company or supporting them in any way. I rarely ever leave negative reviews (being a business owner myself) but this is so unprofessional and unbelievable I had to leave a review about it. Over $20 dollars and you don’t get what you bought. There are plenty of other McKinney ice cream companies to chose from that will actually give you what you paid for.
We were visiting the area and were looking for ice cream to try that we didn't have in our part of the US. Handel's was recommended and did not disappoint. Our group tried Chocoholic Chunk, Salted Caramel Truffle, Lemon Bar, S'mores, and Strawberry Cheesecake. All of them were excellent, but I think S'mores was my favorite! The customer service was SO friendly and efficient and they were happy to let us taste our options. Very well-run, professional, and delicious food establishment!)Kid-friendliness: Kids' cones
We were welcomed as soon as we came in. The staff was so friendly and let us try as many samples as we wanted when deciding what to get. Would recommend the salted carmel truffle and mud pie! The ice cream was smooth and not too sweet. This will be a new regular ice cream spot for us.Parking: There's a reserved spot for veterans and police officers
