I was immediately greeted by Hector, who made me feel so welcome. I ordered the birria tacos to go. Snuck a few bites in the car while it was hot and fresh: DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to come back and dine in.☺️
It’s my favorite place to get breakfast burritos/tacos. It’s inside the gas station and it’s such a sleeper. Tell your friends

Del Sur Mexican Grill is a hidden gem in McKinney, TX, serving delicious and fresh Mexican street food inside a gas station. It has very little seating. The restaurant offers a variety of authentic dishes, including chicken burritos, barbacoa tacos, chorizo, bacon, potato and egg tacos, and cochinita pibil. All the tacos are amazing and freshly made. The salsas taste great. While some dishes have room for improvement, such as the birria tacos lacking consommé and the corn in the cup tasting slightly vinegary and being just okay, the overall experience is good. The staff is welcoming and provides excellent customer service, making it a staple in the area. With homemade tortillas pressed to order, Del Sur is a great spot for a quick and flavorful meal at a fair price.
