I was sat and the hostess got us our drinks.
The freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious and water ice cold. Our server came to take our orders and I told her I need more time.
She then passed our table up three times in the next ten minutes, and even made eye contact with us once.
She still didn't come over to take our orders, but she had time to take orders from a 10 top and ask other diners how their food was.
I haven't felt this invisible at an establishment in a long time and I am very disappointed in Erica's service.

Great good! Great service. We had a large group after a graveside service and they were so helpful getting us all seated but the food was so good!

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. The dining room wasn't noisy like so many other places I've been to and the staff was very friendly. We were seated right away, greeted quickly, and our food came out super fast. I got the hash stack and it was fantastic. A lot of places like this will consistently have the same menu items, but they definitely have some unique items here. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast and will be going back for more.

Service is very slow. Will go again, but first impression was that food was great, but it took 30+ minutes to get an order and we were the only people in the restaurant

Way overpriced breakfast food, gave me a stomach ache and the servers were miserable and passive aggressive.

We came in with our boys and we had an amazing experience!!
The waitress was training but doing an amazing job at caring for our needs with teaching. She took her time to allow my toddlers to order their food and was understanding when my smallest needed a little more time with his words.
The food was delicious and we cleaned our plates of any leftovers. We ordered an iced coffee off the menu and I loved it.

We strolled into Hydeout Cafe to fuel up before recording a podcast at nearby 1845 Distillery—and what a hidden gem!
My wife ordered the Bacado Benedict, a bacon and avocado masterpiece topped with rich, creamy hollandaise. She said the eggs were poached perfectly, and the English muffin stayed toasty under all that gooey goodness—each bite perfectly balanced.
I went full Texan with the breakfast burrito—loaded with bacon, cheese, and fresh vegetables all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Their house hot sauce added a smoky, tangy kick that brought it all together.
Yuisa, our waitress, was super knowledgeable—walking us through the menu and pointing out what was made in-house. That attention to detail really stood out. The coffee? Hot, fresh, and the perfect eye-opener to start the day.
A great place like this is a rare find when you’re traveling the countryside telling the American whiskey story. We’ll definitely be back.

First time and we will be returning.
I had Mexican skillet at the recommendation of the hostess (it was delicious), child had strawberry crepes (she thought it wasn’t sweet enough, she was wrong), husband had banana Nutella French toast and we also tried the cinnamon roll French toast (can’t go wrong with either)

Normally when you order online for delivery, if you get drinks and or an add on like side of bacon, etc., something will be missing. I am patient and gave them the benefit of the doubt, because they do get very busy at breakfast time.. So I never complained or said anything about it... Today I ordered and added an OJ for my husband. It didn't get delivered with our order. So I called and spoke with someone, he said I was refunded, because they didn't have any. Which is acceptable, but he was speaking over me in a very loud tone. I would expect that if I was refunded for something you knew you didn't have, I would have had it marked on the receipt/order on the bag so I would understand what happened upon delivery. But instead I had to call and then go look it up through my email to find out that it was refunded. (Which the other times I was missing an item it was not refunded, because I went back to make sure I ordered it in the first place and there was no other emails stating a refund, so I know that is not the cause for the past missing items). I didn't like the way I was being spoken to by the man that was taking over for his son, I am assuming the owner. He seemed to be blaming me for using door dash for my online order instead of calling the store to make sure they have everything I was wanting to order... But if I ordered by calling, door dash wouldn't deliver to me. Plus I orderef through the restaurants website and door dash was offered as an ordering service.

Pros: The portions were very large. Good value for your money. My waitress was pleasant and attentive. Their house hot sauce is pretty flavorful. Which is a good thing because...
Cons: The Chicken Fried Chicken was bland, the breading was very thick and an almost cardboard like consistency. Neither breading, nor the chicken were seasoned at all. The gravy too, suffered from a lack of seasoning. I had to douse the entire thing in the aforementioned hot sauce. At least the eggs & pancakes were good.
With so many awesome breakfast/brunch options in the McKinney/Allen area, I probably won't be back. It was terrible, just average. It didn't do anything to win me over.
