The food and service here was amazing. The host greeted me with a bright smile and was very communicative the entire time. They were super helpful and even gave my niece and nephew cute little headbands. The servers were always near by and explained if we had questions. The atmosphere was very happy and upbeat. Will definitely be coming back again!

We were very disappointed with both the food and the service. We started with the sushi appetizer, and it was soggy instead of fresh.
I ordered the shrimp hibachi for $26.99, and the portion was underwhelming—a cup of white rice, about 10 shrimp, and maybe 2/3 cup of vegetables. To make matters worse, everything that normally comes with a hibachi meal at most restaurants was an additional $4–$5 each.
The miso soup tasted like dirty water, and the salad came with only one dressing option. The ginger dressing was extremely runny and bland. The ginger sauce looked like applesauce, and the shrimp sauce looked and tasted like mayonnaise. The shrimp hibachi itself had almost no flavor.
The service was just as disappointing. Our waitress was not personable at all. She took our order, brought out the food, and we never saw her again. Another lady brought us our check. She took our drinks away when she picked up the check to run the credit card, even though I wasn’t finished with mine.
Overall, this was a very disappointing dining experience. We love hibachi and were looking forward to a great meal, but this restaurant completely missed the mark. We won’t be returning.

The staff is exceptional, top-tier Hibachi performance. The drink waiters were also great. We had 16 people in our group, and no issues or mistakes, and everyone had a great time.
My only note on the food is: watch the consistency. The performance, as I said, was exceptional. I got the Mahi Mahi/Chicken combo. The Mahi Mahi was good, the chicken was meh. Someone else got chicken and really liked it. Another member of my party got the shrimp and lobster, and really liked the lobster but did not care for the shrimp (they usually like shrimp). I thought the shrimp was fine. My fried rice and salad and soup were all delicious and the proper temperature. The Japanese Kiss I ordered was also great. The Edamame was tasty. Since it was largely positive on the food, I'm giving 5 stars over all, but 4 on the food just as a note to the restaurant watch for consistency on quality.
Kyoto Hibachi was a good experience overall. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked well. One thing that stood out was the variety of cooked fish options, which was a nice change from many other hibachi restaurants. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared nicely. The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. The only thing I noticed was that the portion sizes were a bit smaller than what I’ve received at most hibachi places. Even so, the quality and variety of the food made up for it, and I enjoyed my meal. I’d definitely come back and try more items from the menu.

Always a pleasure to go. Service is always hospitable even with language barriers they get the job done by repeating until they understand. Be patient with that. Food is always amazing this was our 4th or 5th return I just forget to do my reviews. They have the infamous Yum Yum sauce. Donβt ya just hate when you go to hibachi type restaurants and they have their version of sauces and it doesnβt include the yum yum π€€ sauce. Literally I wonβt go back because of that one thing missing iykyk. All meats were cooked properly no chewy meats. Service and food prep n cook was amazing. I definitely recommend if you have a taste for hibachi style Japanese meals.

Food was unseasoned. Salt and pepper and that is it for everything. Just as bad as Benihana. Sticking to Shogun.
