This was our first time here. I had heard great things about this place so I was looking forward to this meal. We came with our friends for a night out. When we walked in we were greeted and seated after a 30min wait for reservation that we made a few hours before, with no one in front of us. The place has a nice environment, intimate booth seating. The menu had some great items listed. I ordered the pork tenderloin and loved it. Our friends ordered steak and it was not good at...
We've been to Yocal's 15+ times and have always been delighted with the service and food. Unfortunately tonight it let us down with painfully slow service (our cocktails arrived 20 mins after we sat down), my daughter's entree (salad with grilled chicken) arrived 10 minutes after all other entries with no apology or explanation, and my wife's burger-and-fries arrived cold. This is our first visit on a busy weekend and they appeared to have overloaded the kitchen...
