I got the abula and my boyfriend got the egusi delight. Everything tasted fantastic, reminded me of home. The proteins are very tender and easy to eat. I tried the chicken meatpie and was not dry at all, very flavorful. I got a pina colda drink that was very refreshing, not too sugary. The meals came with a complimentary puff puff appetizer. The atmosphere was nice, definitely would come again.

Mabel’s has great food and great people. The service was too notch. We missed the D.J. bringing the Afro-beats but we’ll be back.

My son and I had a wonderful experience at Mabel’s African Cuisine. As first-time visitors trying West African food, we weren’t sure what to order, but the staff made us feel completely welcome from the moment we walked in. Everyone was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu.

I can’t remember our waitress’s name, but she was fantastic and helped my son and me choose the perfect meals. My son ordered the Kids Chicken Wings, and I had the Jollof Beef Tips meal. Both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were amazing, and everything was cooked perfectly.

A special thank you to Dele, who came over and spent time talking with us. He was so kind and took the time to explain the history behind the dishes, as well as the spices and flavor profiles used in West African cuisine. It made the experience feel much more personal and gave us a deeper appreciation for the food.

The combination of outstanding food and exceptional customer service made this a truly memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try more of the menu!

I was so excited to try Mabel’s cause it pretty close to me .The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and great aesthetics, but the food was disappointing. As a Nigerian, I expected more authentic flavors, especially in the Efo Riro, which lacked the rich taste and seasoning I’m used to. The designer stew was bland and tasted more like regular stew than authentic designer stew. The menu was also very limited, with only a few basic Nigerian dishes. Overall, the ambiance was good, but the food did not meet my expectations.
