We had a wonderful experience at Palio’s McKinney! We were searching for a local business that could comfortably host the Kung Fu Academy of North Texas’s 2-year anniversary appreciation dinner (about 25 people), and Palio’s exceeded every expectation.
From the very beginning, Ramon was incredibly responsive. He immediately offered to reserve the space for us and even encouraged us to bring banners and anything else we needed to enhance the celebration. When we arrived, the tables were marked with custom “Reserved” signs featuring our logo which was a thoughtful touch that meant a lot.
Our pre-order was ready right on time, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding throughout the night. I had ordered two cakes and let Ramon choose the flavors; he surprised us with one beautifully customized with our academy’s name.
The team truly went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. We couldn’t be more grateful, and we look forward to celebrating with Palio’s again!

We ate in AND also ordered two sandwiches to go for other family members. Although we thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches and Ceasar salad at the restaurant, the sandwiches that were to go were less than good. The meatball and cheese had the TINY meatballs that you get in a frozen bag from Costco. Only three meatballs per 1/2 sub. For the price AND given the tiny meatballs should have had more. Also, the to go Italian sub was ALL bread and the thinnest slice of meat. Very disappointing!
Additionally, I read a review that was submitted 7 months ago where the soda machine was out of order. That soda and ice machine has not been repaired. They do offer CANS of soda.

I’m not sure why but the patio was in total disarray and trash everywhere and they just opened. Their drink /ice machine wasn’t working and it was quite warm in the restaurant. I’ve been to several Palio’s and this one isn’t it. Pizza was so bland as well.

Some of the best Chicken Alfredo I've had. Kid working the front treated me like family! Got me anything and everything I asked for, whatever he's making isn't enough. Need more people like him in the world
We had a good experience. Restaurant was clean, service was great with ample parking. The pizza was good too. Update Molly was delivered nice and hot within 30 minutes. I could not wait to try it before taking a photo

There was mold in my cup of marinara and the guy cooking the pizzas really tried to make me believe it was cheese 🤢 unfortunately, we will likely not be coming back to this location not only because of the mold but because they gaslight their customers

I visited this place for the first time today with the intention of enjoying a dine-in pizza experience, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. Although the pizza looked visually appealing, the taste did not meet expectations. The staff didn’t seem very friendly or proactive in offering assistance. I had to ask for basic condiments like sauce, which should have been provided without request. Additionally, the soda machine was not functioning, and the ice machine appeared to need cleaning. Overall, the experience fell short, and I hope improvements are made in both service and quality.
