Hostess and waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Food was tasty and lived up to expectations. McKinney is not our normal area. We were there only to meet “half way” for friends coming from far east DFW. Downtown McKinney is a thriving place and Sugarbacon is a great place to visit.
Great food, the service could use a boost. They leave dirty tables all over and forget to bring you the things you ask for. They have upscale prices with a roadside diner attitude. There's no real “dining experience“. Food is good though!
I have to say that Sugarbacon is an incredible find. Nestled at the corner of nostalgic downtown McKinney, they offer affordable dishes that the recipes and taste stand out from the rest who might have the same dish. I would absolutely highly recommend Sugarbacon. I don't live in McKinney, but if I did, this would be a "go to" place for me.
