I was really looking forward to gelato and I got ice cream. Some of the gelato was too hard for the women serving us to scoop. There were plenty of flavors but not the texture of gelato I know and love. Also the coffee machine was broken, not really their fault but added to the disappointment.
Literally did not vome from the back.
I had the best experience all due to a sweet young worker named Sophie! The gelato was great but she made it all the better! Highly recommend!
I ordered an Americano, but the coffee I received was completely different from what I asked for. When I politely asked the employee to correct it, their attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. I’ve never felt so dismissed over such a simple request.
Customer service should never make you feel uncomfortable for asking for the drink you paid for. Very disappointing experience, and I will definitely think twice before coming back.
Sweet Caroline's Gelato - Downtown (McKinney)
Not the best Gelato. Too frozen. Great Gelato supposed to taste, rich, smooth and flavorful.
I came here with family to try their Gelato. When you look at the options, they offer 16 flavors. Including, “Tiramisu” that’s what I order. As well as, “Mint Chocolate Chip,” “Ruby Red,” “Strawberry Banana,” and twelve other flavors.
The Gelato names were a bit difficult to read. They were focusing on making the writing look fancy instead of making it easy to read.
Condensation on the glass also indicated that your Gelato was going to taste more frozen, with ice chunks, instead of rich, creamy and smooth like an authentic Gelato should taste.
Our young lady was somewhat helpful. Overall, she wasn’t expressing good customer service.
The space is very small. Not suitable for groups. You only have five tables and fourteen chairs. Space is very crammed. Outside you have a very small patio with limited seating. Three tables and twelve chairs.
It was not my cup of Gelato but feel free to try it out for yourself. I prefer my Gelato, Rich flavorful and smooth. “Epic Gelato,” in Flower Mound, by far has the best Gelato in DFW Metroplex.
just waited 20 minutes outside in the summer heat with family and kids for the store to open. The employee was very rude from the moment she unlocked the door and didn't acknowledge us waiting in the heat outside. I said hello, didn't reply or acknowledge us. When I ask for a sample for my son to try, the employee rolled her eyes and took a big deep breath before grabbing a spoon. I told her nevermind that we were leaving the store, overall horrible vibe for a 12pm family ice cream experience.
very unfortunate because I been here a couple times with my family and kids. My wife and I immediately decided to go to the ice cream place nearby.
I only gave them one star because I couldn't comment without it. Very unwelcoming and standoffish. This type of business is a dime a dozen and yet they feel that they somehow earned the right to have a sense of entitlement. I would rather do without than give another dime of support to them! 👎🏻
The service here was very disappointing. The staff were unfriendly, slow to greet customers, and didn’t even bother to say thank you at the end of the transaction. On top of that, the gelato is far from authentic—it tastes more like average ice cream. If you’re looking for true gelato, this is not the place. It would take new ownership and a complete change in quality and service for me to consider coming back.
Very unprofessional.
Got the pistachio ice cream. It was good.

Go somewhere else. Super unprofessional staff.
We have a kid with egg allergies. Sophie, the person working inside, had no clue which, if any, of their gelato were egg-free.
She was also extremely defensive when we asked if she could call someone to find out (since apparently this is not posted anywhere inside).
She refused to call anyone and had major attitude with us.
Then we just happened to bump into the owner after we left, who told us that the gelato with Oreos may have eggs because of the Oreos…
But Oreos are vegan…
Tbh not sure how this place passed a food handler certification, but I’d just steer clear. Plenty of other great vendors nearby.
Disappointing. Ice cream with no flavor and no creamy texture.
Disappointing. Scoops are tiny and overpriced. Bland taste in all 4 flavors we tried. Won’t be wasting my money here again
It was so good the place has AC
Brought my two toddlers and family here on our family day and it’s was amazing. The options are good and the worker was sweet and understanding.
