Let me be clear, I had NOT asked for a free cake but a complementary smash cake which you used to offer in the past (along with my main party cake for which you were already charging a good price).

I wish I had looked at the reviews first before purchasing any cake from this seller. The online website is extremely deceiving. I don’t even know where to start with this cake. Wonky line work, terrible seams, horrible paint job. The email communication was not professional and they clearly didn’t listen to me. I loved the photo reference that THEY SENT ME (false advertisement) and wanted the shoes on the top… instead I get store bought baby letters which is NOT what I asked for. The ribbon was supposed to be on the top tier… sure wasn’t! The whole cake was botched. The cupcakes too were a disaster. The piping was so messy and to throw on more plastic inedible art was ridiculous. Should have just went to Costco. Not worth $250, not even worth $50. The worst part is the entire cake and cupcakes were dry and unmemorable. Had it tasted delicious I could have overlooked it all but this is a joke of a bakery. STAY AWAY!

I am in the process of ordering my second cake from sweet tooth. I have a large family and last year decide to pay more for a quality cake, which I got for my daughter 6th birthday. I was really nervous because I contacted so many business a week out to make this special cake and sweet tooth was the only company accepted my order on a short notice. The communication was great from start to finish.

Sweet tooth custom cakes Rock!!! I live in California and one of my friends lives in the town they are in. The 3rd of January is my friends Birthday. I ordered a cake from them and it was the most beautiful cake !!! My friend loved it also and said the frosting was to die for. Thank you Ladies It won't let me give you a 10 but I really want to. unprofessional, doesn’t respond or care to have clients. couldnt even get through the consultation because she refuses to get back to me as promised during the week since she said she doesn’t respond on weekends. i waited many days and also tried contacting her during the week. she promised to get back to me and never did. she clearly didn’t want or care to make a cake for me even though i was a paying customer and was very patient. lost my business thats for sure. if you’re not willing to do the order just say that. don’t be rude and ignore people who want to pay you. UPDATE: shes decided to block me on instagram after i tried to reachout a final time to speak to her. never attempted to resolve the issue just plain ignores people she doesn’t want to work for. and for no particular reason. so unprofessional.

Oh my goodness! I consider myself somewhat of a cupcake connoisseur ?and these were the best cupcakes!!! The cupcake itself was flavorful and nice and moist. And the icing was perfection - not too sweet, but just sweet enough. And to top it off -they were decorated beautifully! I will definitely use Sweet Tooth Custom Cakes for any of my baking needs in the future!

I really wish I could give this place 0 stars because it doesn’t deserve the one. Customer service is horrible!!! I placed my order on a Monday the week before my daughter’s birthday. I gave clear instructions and even asked if I needed to provide payment information that day for her to get started. I was told no and that I would receive an invoice for payment. I never received an invoice, so I assumed it would be provided at the pick up. Apparently, their policy is they send you an invoice via email and pray to God you get it within 24 hours because if you don’t the order is canceled. Well I never received an invoice or a follow up call verifying I received it. I’ve never done business with these people. To assume I would know your policies and procedures is ridiculous. Long story short, when I was ready to pick up my cake....there was no cake. I was very rudely told by the owner “ I don’t chase down payments”...???? Are you serious!? She ended up making the cake in about 4 hours ( a two tier cake with special design). I paid $178 for a cake I had to triage myself when I got home. I cried for hours. This was a very special party for us. I Will NEVER do business with these people again. And as an event planner myself, I will make sure my colleagues do not use them either. Take your business anywhere else.Update: Don’t rely on the high ratings on this business. They are all friends of the business owner. Please do your homework and check the other sites for reviews. They are more truthful about the service. BTW…in response to the invoice she noted sending, I sent and received all correspondence to and from her through my work email. I had the IT department go through my account and they verified that there was NO EMAIL from this company or any other providing an invoice for me to pay.

I wanted to continue to support and even was sending more customers her way but I wouldn’t dare embarrass myself like that. I had to continuously text over and over just to get her to respond. The communication is horrible. She needs an assistant badly. I will take my money where it is wanted because she obviously doesn’t want/need it so I’m done trying to support African American small business.

The response time with the baker was not prompt, yet I understand there maybe an increase in her demand since winning a Food Network competition.I was hoping the Baker would take more of an initiative to be creative with the inspirations I sent. Again I understand why they wanted a set picture; some people complain about a baker's creativity.I purposely sent pictures of a young DBZ character and still received an older Goku; yet, I was not specific or insisted on a younger Goku. My expectations may have been high due to the photos on their websites and the Food Network.Overall, I had a decent experience with the STCC. I would definitely try some of their other baked goods. I have a feeling the owner did not make the cake I ordered, just an assumption; I could be wrong.
