Guava Tree is an absolute gem! Their frozen mojitos with guava are a must-try—refreshing, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Cuban sandwiches are delicious, packed with authentic flavors, and paired perfectly with crispy plantain chips. This cute little spot offers some of the best Cuban food I’ve had, even better than some of the places I’ve tried in Miami! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a fantastic meal. If you’re a fan of Cuban cuisine, this spot is a hidden treasure you don’t want to miss!

Love this place, why can’t they be open on Sundays !! I go downtown every weekend and would love to go here on a sunday
This place is stellar. Their cuban sandwich rivals anything I've had in Miami. The Ropa Vieja is my personal fav and the maduros are semi-sweet with a little bit of a crispy edge. If there isn't a festival in downtown and it's an easy going affair.
Dietary restrictions: For those that are lactose intolerant, the ropa vieja and the maduros don't have anything to worry about. I'm on the elevated side of intolerant. As the Cuban Sandwich has cheese I had to take my normal amount of enzyme mitigation but I had no adverse effects.

Excellent place for Cuban food. The Cuban sandwich was fantastic and pork bowl with rice and beans was excellent. There are handful of tables out on the porch which made for a lovely outdoor meal. Would definitely return.

Vegetarian options: I love their loaded yucca fries. They are perfect by themselves. Could I get them loaded because it's a full meal. They can be vegan if you leave out the sour cream. They are gluten-free if you ask them not to put the little crispy onions on top. Or you can have them add the slow cooked pork for $3. It's a full course dish and absolutely yummy. It feeds two of us for 15 dollars.

Parking: The staff is always really pleasant. It's so nice just to come inside and pick up their vibe.

The Cuban sandwich with plantain chips was very good. I was particularly impressed with the plantain chips because normally I don't like them but they were crispy and deliciously seasoned. They seem to have a pretty good selection of beers and cocktails, as well as outdoor and indoor seating. I enjoyed it and would definitely go again.

THE best Cuban sandwich I've had in DFW. Staff is always nice, food is always fresh and hot. Fried plantain chips are great, especially when fresh. Parking can be a challenge but there are nearby garages. Space is limited inside, so be ready to be friendly. Always feel taken care of here!

Loves loved!!!! I moved here three years ago and very proud Cuban it’s not easy to go out and eat authentic Cuban food and love it. Well if I do say so myself it has my stamp of approval. I had the ropa vieja sandwich off the hook good! We will def be back. Thank you!
