Everything was terrific, food especially and ambieance. Our waitress was very slow and we had to ask for a straw several times before we got it. Other than that, highly recommended!

We eat here fairly regularly. We come back because the food and service are typically great, as it was with this meal. Steve provided his usual awesome service. Food was excellent. We never feel hurried. It does get a little loud on weekends when the room is full, but this Wednesday night was quite pleasant. My wife and I highly recommend Urban Grill.

This is one of our favorite places in McKinney! Awesome staff, menu options, and wine selection.

The atmosphere was great. I made a reservation to take my wife here for her birthday and on the reservation even noted it was a special occassion and listed birthday. We arrived and were seated. There was no mention of my wife's birthday by any of the staff. I would rate the food as good but no where near the cost that was charged. Our server was great and was informative of the menu.

The sea bass was incredible. Our server was wonderfully accommodating. My former colleague and I had a lot to catch up on and it was nice to be able to complete our in-depth conversation before ordering.

The food is really good. Served fast and timely. We got fried calamari for appetizer, main dishes : pork and meatballs. Dessert bread pudín and coffee. They have ample selection of wines to pair your meal with. The waitress was friendly and polite. It was lil pricy but worth it.

Had a fabulous evening of fine food and drink. Started with the lamb appetizer with Chimichuri spice, burrata, then proceeded to lobster bisque. Seafood risotto was delish. Enjoyed an old fashion as well. Friends enjoyed the pot roast as well. You got to give it a try.

Despite the m having a large party at the same time as our reservation I was pleasantly surprised how efficient the service was. Food came out fast but we didn't feel rushed.

Food is incredible, especially the fish special, the salads and the lettuce wraps. Our go-to place for a wonderful dinner out. And the chocolate pots de creme is an absolute must for dessert.
Only problem is it is SOOOO SO SO noisy you cannot really carry on a conversation. Try not to go Friday or Saturday cuz you can't hear yourself think because of the noise.

I had high expectations for this restaurant based on the reviews, and perhaps it was a bad night, but I suspect I will never go back. My wife and I wanted a casual anniversary dinner, so I selected this restaurant and informed them that this was for my anniversary. When we arrived, there was no acknowledgement and we were seated at a table that was extremely tight. I shared my concern about the table spacing and was met with a blank stare and a shrug. That should have been my signal to leave. I moved the table myself to ensure we could fit. The customer behind actually apologized for things being so tight and I shared with him that it wasn't his fault...the seating was just not comfortable at all. What was most disturbing was there was an empty booth that could seat 4 right across from us but that wasn't offered as an option. A few minutes after we were seated, another party of 2 was seated there.

The second problem was the food itself. We started with the chicken lettuce wraps and were disappointed. The entire dish had been overcooked and didn't have much flavor. The best way to describe it was 'one note.' We decided at that point that it was time for us to leave.

I will note that the waitress did a fine job, although I didn't get her name. My rating for the service was purely based on the young man that seated us and seemed to have an issue with me saying something about the poor seating choice. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone and am glad that my wife and I didn't let this experience ruin our evening.

Food was delicious and the service was wonderful. It got quite loud as it filled up so it got very difficult to have a conversation with the friends we ate with. But if you know that going in, you'll love it!
