“Had lunch here with my wife and it was a very pleasant experience. We both had their loaded garden salad and it was fantastic. The house made croutons were great. I also had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese sandwich and man was it. Very good and big on cheese. Their homemade bread was very good. I thought the pepper relish was a bit too sweet but it was very flavorful. Best part was the house made scone with raspberry butter that they gave us complimentary that day. It was very good. Then there was the homemade chocolate chip cookie, one of the best I've had in a long time. Super good. Service was great and overall a very neat experience. Highly recommend.”

“It’s a hole in the wall! But it’s worth the trip for sure! We came to Merkel for a Going Home our coC preacher recommended and he was not wrong! We drove out of our way to eat there a 2nd time before flying out of DFW IAP the smothered chicken was as perfect as the first time. We are visiting again in a few months & SKEET’s is on the itinerary! Have had the pleasure of eating meals from all of the country & world - the food is worth a 2nd, 3rd go! Isn’t that right Bro. Dave! LOVE OUR HOLES IN THE WALL!”

“I went thru the drive thru and got 2 bean and cheese. They said it was $10.82 and I was confused at first but paid anyway. Then I got them. 2 huge heavy bean a cheese burritos with tons of cheese. I see why they're $5 a piece. Amazing tortillas packs with fresh beans and cheese in every bite. Paired with their salsa Verde was a match made in heaven. I've gone 3 days in a row to get one. I got one for my wife abd she said well I'll eat half now and half later. Nope. She ate the whole thing right then and there it was so good. They have different sizes apparently and I was getting the large. Which is fine. They also have a cheaper regular size. The ladies in the drive thru are always so nice as well. Anyway, if you're in Merkel looking for a good breakfast taco, I highly recommend this place.”

“Hunter is here by himself and we had quite the order of 6 sandwiches with all of them having to be heated. There were customers who came in behind us and he greeted them while still taking our order and didn't once skip a beat.
