Joe's Pizza & Italian Grill is a clean place that looks like your typical diner in pizza place, with a cute Italian rustic look inside and plenty of seating. The pizza is not greasy at all, and the thickness is perfect—not crispy thin but not thick. The crust is nice, though the stuffed pizza can get a bit soggy from the heat of the pan, and some wished it had more cheese inside. The wonderful chicken marsala is just like Italian papa used to make. Great pizza and my husband's favorite lasagna are available, along with rolls and salads. The marinera spaghetti is a big portion for a kid and surprisingly good. The alfredo pasta with chicken is now a favorite. The cannoli is incredible. They bring out free delicious bread like a NY Italian restaurant, and the sauce and pasta combo sampler is on point. Lunch specials have really good prices with a lot of food for the buck. However, one time a supreme pizza had toppings not spread very well, with uneven distribution of mushrooms, ham, hamburger, and extra cheese. Friendly staff.
