This was the best homecooked soul food I have had in an establishment in a longgggg time. The staff was extremely personable and acommodating. I plan to be a FREQUENT patron. When I tasted the cornbread dressing and banana pudding I said "Ooh wee..." and my husband laughed and pointed to the wall and said, "...well that is the name..." IF you know what REAL homecooked soul food should taste like, you will be plesantly surprised😁
I don't recommend this restaurant. I witnessed two members of the staff treat a customer with the most disrespect I have ever seen from anyone. The owner, (as she called herself), was yelling and cursing while claiming the Lord's blessing in her own life. I don't think the customer is always right, but in this case I don't care what the problem was, the way she spoke to the customer was inexcusable. Don't bother. This place isn't worth your time. Waiting 2 hours for a to go order for food that you just spoon up is ridiculous. got home didn't get what I paid for called to let them know. they hung up on me then the owner called back and let me know she didn't care she was blessed and then called me a B!tch. is sad to think a business owner would behave that way since the restaurant wasn't even busy.
