“It is a delight to have Countryside Cafe in Little Mexia! Their food is excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. You won't find a better chicken fried steak than theirs anywhere! If you haven't eaten there you have missed out.”

“Oh so yummy! Worth a trip to Mexia if you find yourself in the area. We had the sliced beef sandwich and it was amazing...and then we had the peach cobbler and that was exceptional! Do not miss the peach cobbler! Nice folks, fast service, great prices.”

“This is certainly a good homestyle restaurant with fresh ingredient food. We had a party of 7 and none of the menu item ingredients seemed to be the frozen, Sysco type food. \nI had Chicken fried Chicken, loaded sweet potato and fried okra. The Chicken and Okra were hand battered and the sweet potato freshly baked. \nThe sweet tea was not overly sweet and fresh brewed as well. \nThe service was friendly but I did notice our waitress also had another big party at a table while other waitresses had small parties making our service not very attentive. We had to call for the waitress instead of her being attentive to the table. \nThis restaurant was priced reasonably and to a person from a metro area would seem extremely cheap! Five others ate seafood platters and with my choice the bill\nWas $148.00 excluding tip.”

“I’m from Buffalo, TX and used to eat at the Chinese buffet in Palestine, but honestly, it never hit the mark — food was cold, bland, and just disappointing. I almost gave up on finding good Chinese food in the area until I stumbled across Grand Buffet. This place is a hidden gem! The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. Whether it’s the sushi, or classic buffet favorites, everything I’ve tried has been delicious. If you're tired of the usual places letting you down, do yourself a favor and give Grand Buffet a try. Totally worth it.”

“It was great! Best burger place in the 806 by far! Great service, great food, great people. My waiter was very fast and respectful! I got a patty melt, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned! Fries were immaculate, great seasoned and cooked! I would definitely recommend!”

“This Taco Bell is pretty damn good. Although the time in the drive-through is a little longer than I’d like, the food is always hot, fresh and delicious and the window service at the drive-thru as always exceptional. I haven’t been to this Taco Bell once and received bad service, not once. The employees are smiling, but not too friendly, helpful, kind and efficient. Best place in town for lunch if you only have 30 minutes. Did I say the food was always hot, fresh, crunchy, and delicious? Regardless , let me repeat myself, the food amazing. I haven’t been inside this establishment, I always use the drive-through, so I can’t comment on the atmosphere inside or the cleanliness of the restrooms or the restaurant itself. BUT based on the outside of the restaurant, which is always clean, I would venture to say that the inside the restaurant is clean as well.”
