I have been to this location 5 tomes and out of the 4 times there has been something wrong with my meal whether the chicken was burnt, like dark brown burnt. Or the bread was burnt. I cant believe they would give a meal like that to someone.
This time they didnt even fill up my mac n cheese cup.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I placed an online order for pickup through the drive-through because I have limited mobility and cannot walk. When I arrived, I was told to come inside. I calmly explained that I couldn’t, and instead of understanding or offering a solution, the manager came out angry, ranting about having kids and how she’d “have to pay” if the order got stolen. That’s not my problem — I just wanted the food I paid for, not an argument.
To make things worse, the order was wrong — they gave me gravy instead of the sauce I ordered. This location clearly has no understanding of accessibility, professionalism, or basic customer service. If this is how management treats people with disabilities, it’s shameful and completely out of line.
Do better, Chicken Express. People deserve respect, not excuses.

I can’t win for loosing! This is my 2nd Chicken Express in Midland The first one we had issues as to why we’re @ this one
So we get inside there’s people eating obviously
The lady (I wasn’t able to get her name but she’s African American) whose supposed to be taking our order is hanging out chowing pics to the customers and she even had the nerve to ask us how we’re doing & she didn’t even come take our order and it’s 8:40 pm on 9/18/25

The manager and staff that was working on this shift around 9:15pm was horrible. The guy who was working the window obviously didn’t know what he was doing or how to work his microphone or even what was on the menu. Multiple times he asked us to hold on to speak to whoever was on shift and never muted his mic so we could hear them joking around and talking. My daughter needed to go to the restroom and the lobby was closed at 9:30 but they are open until 10pm and it looked like a wreck in there. As walking back to my car to tell my mom about the lobby the manager and another employee walked over to a car around the corner and were joking around and talking loudly and laughing so I proceeded to the car by then my mom was calling the store and someone answered the phone that was not the manager and continued to not respond then the manager that was on shift answered the phone and said “hello” then proceeded into the greeting and then as we were explaining the situation she walked out with our cold food and just handled it without even saying anything of an apology for the wait and proceeded to talk on the phone then we told her that it was us on the phone and she looked at us with a ugly looked hung up and then walked inside. We waited for almost 45 minutes from ordering to getting out food. This is ridiculous and unprofessional. $35 for food that was cold and unwelcoming customer service.
Fried chicken was good but the tenders were a joke! I ordered 4. The tenders were so small they didn’t even equal 1 tender. Super tiny and over breaded and worse thing dry and old! The alarming thing is that chicken tenders are very inexpensive and they failed miserably . The tenders not worth eating.
First place the grandkids wanted to eat at upon returning to Texas.
The food was over cooked and it took 45 mins to get our food this was too much.
Went on a Friday to get catfish. We were at the Andrews hwy location and they just ran out of fish. Called the wadley location and Tonya told us to come over and she would drop some in the oil for us. Tonya was super nice and helped us with our order.

CHICKEN WAS OVER COOKED AND EXTREMELY DRY TASTED LIKE PURE SMOKE.
I showed up at 8:16pm and asked for a 12-piece family meal deal and was told that they didn't have enough chicken to fill a box of 12 pieces. I then asked if they could fill an eight-piece box and he said NO, That he only had five pieces of chicken so I asked if he can just give me the five pieces and add in some chicken tenders to fill a 8 piece box since it was their problem of not having enough chicken and he said no I have to buy separate boxes. They don't close until 10:00 p.m.
Really ridiculous service.

This place is horrifying!! I was treated terribly for asking can they take my order at the drive thru. The woman said I'll be right with you.. 8 minutes later I asked could I order..she said 'ma'am.....do you think if I was ready to take your order I'd take it? Yet you ask me again...' awful.....just disgusting

Store has been closed for over a month. Big Spring st location
Ive been in this line for 30 minutes for ONE meal chicken express DO BETTER the lady left to the bathroom then the manager comes to inform me of this and says oh it was sitting right here the whole time hands me the food then closed the window. Yall need new managers and better employees SIMPLE. ZERO
