We had a great time tonight. Service was great - food was delicious, but the best part was Jimmy, our hibachi chef. He was very fun and high energy. We have gone to Hayashi for years and it never disappoints. I highly recommend it.

I don't eat sushi at all but still love the hibachi!!! But I found a roll that is called the Big Spring roll and it has cooked steak in it!!! Holy cow it was soooo freaking amazing!!

Showed up 1 hour before closing and was refused a seat saying they were closed. Just because some people are to lazy to do their job.

We come here several times a month. It is never perfect with crappy service and orders often wrong or you wait like you don't have a life elsewhere but its Midland so you do the best you can but after tonight NEVER and I do repeat NEVER again. My husband ordered two rolls and the sashimi sampler. I ordered my typical filet mignon hibachi, medium rare. It came overcooked and absolutely cold. I brought it up to the waitress and they offered to to remake it but after waiting over 30 minutes for the food and needing to get back to our children, we opted to not have it remade. I didn't eat any of it, a bit of rice but after the meat being disgustingly overcooked and cold, I think the $10.50 discount is absolute nonsense and horrible business practices. Then the waitress adds insult to injury and asks if I want a to-go box and I have to be honest I wouldn't even give it to my dog.

We always enjoy coming here. Good sushi and hibachi. Good with family or friends

Rolls were so big! Prices are very reasonable. Our server, Angel, was very attentive without hovering. Though we don’t live in town, we will definitely be back!

Fresh rolls. We ordered 3. Likes all but the spring special roll. The place had a welcoming atmosphere which created a nice place for our Easter lunch.

Been coming to this place for a few years now, but for the past 2 years, I come during lunch and order the exact same thing, EXACT. I get there today, order my food and all of a sudden one of my items is in a MUCH smaller container and half way full. I go on to tell the girl that that's not the container it usually comes in and she argued that it's always been in that one. I know what I order, and what container it comes in because for the past 2 YEARS I BEEN GETTING THE SAME THING so I would definitely know if something is different!
So I get charged the same amount but half the portion!! It's BS! Just lost a customer! ✌️

Left after 1.5 hours because the hibachi chef never came to our table. The party next to us was seated after we were already seated and after our order was taken. They were served before us. Unacceptable.
