I was relieved to find the two gentlemen working there were accommodating and friendly, though it was evident that the ladies in the kitchen were already in the mindset of wrapping up for the day. Nevertheless, the food surpassed expectations! It had a distinctly homemade taste, which added to its appeal. The sweet tea and brownie were delightful complements to the meal, rounding off the experience on a sweet note. Despite the potential pitfalls of timing, the overall quality of the food and the amiable service from the gentlemen made it a worthwhile visit.

"Oh boy, let me tell ya, McAlisters in Midland, TX? It was like eating a handful of mud with a side of veggies! I swear, the veggies tasted like they were plucked straight from the garden without any rinsing. Definitely not going back there, unless I suddenly develop a taste for dirt!"
