The food here is always great, but the service today was exceptional! But today, on Christmas Eve, they went above and beyond. We realized last minute that we didn’t have enough meat for our family gathering. Even though they were closed and working a catering event, they answered the phone and absolutely saved the day. That kind of service is rare. Thank you, Ellis County BBQ! 🎄

I am very disappointed in the flavor of the Brisket. Little to no smoke flavor or smoke ring. I am not sure if the even smoke the Brisket. I will not waste my money going back.

I had high hopes, but was let down as soon as I opened the to-go plate. You could tell by looking at the brisket that it was going to be dry. The BBQ sauce that was gelling already didn’t even help chock it down it was so dry. The ribs were no better. Mac and cheese was the same you get at any other place. The fried okra was at least decent. I would only recommend if you want to build jaw muscles and risk choking trying to get this down.

Came here for the first time today with my bf. He got the loaded baked potato and I got the combo with pulled pork. Food wasn’t too bad but wish it was hotter. The Butter didn’t even melt on the baked potato. Both of our food was semi cold. Our waitress was awesome tho.

I havent been here in a while and thought why not go again. It wasnt a good experience. I would not go again and I wouldnt suggest to anyone. The sausage was dry, the sliced brisket was dry.
