Ellis County BBQ

Service is so bad....teenagers apparently have no clue service depends on tips. They stand behind the wall, never ask for refills, waited 15 minutes in a non busy restaurant to get first drinks....won't be back any time soon!

Take out. Food was as expected... outstanding. Service, excellent, temperature and accuracy on target. Been here about temperature times or so, always the same. Predictable in being outstanding!

Been here now two times and it's exactly the same as before, Ribs were undercooked...

Disappointing experience at Ellis County BBQ. The brisket was dry and hard, lacking the tenderness you'd expect. The ribs and sausage were both undercooked, making it hard to enjoy any flavor. Even the mac and cheese was bland, with no taste at all. Definitely not worth the visit.

Ive had ribs from Kansas City to Houston. Hands down my friends . I was in HEAVEN ,, Tall Shiner Boc and all the ribs you can eat for under $ 25 bucks. and the Bartender and the wait staff always SMILIN. Rib lovers ,, do yourself a favor and check this place out .. aka

Too cold inside. Had to move to another table. If the bbq sauce had more flavor then the rest would be good. Too bland...

ECB is some of the best BBq you're going to find. Their BBq sauce is fantastic. It's not a very big place, but it has a nice bar with seating at the bar and a few bar tables. Bar is separated from the main dining floor for a family-friendly atmosphere. Good Sports/Military decor with plenty of screens to watch games on.

Good food and more than just BBQ. Not quite as good as my home town family owned (3 generations) BBQ, but better than all the big chain places we could remember. A bit noisy, but obviously well liked by the local folks and very family friendly. A good choice if you're in town and want some good chow!

BBQ was good and plentiful. The staff was attentive and helpful. They are under new management and the changes are welcome.
