They by far have some of the worst mangers I’ve I have ever came across. Every single gray shirt working manger shouldn’t be there.

Awful awful awful. They take forever to do anything. Took us 25 minutes to get a water through the drive through. Move so slow. Also, they barely have any employees (could be the reason they are so slow)

I made a mistake on my online order and the manager was so kind and helped me fix it. I appreciate the kindness I was so tired and hungry and it was so nice to have a genuinely nice person help me

Me and my family went to whataburger off 287 after concert. They took our order but not paying attention, because kept saying “what”. They missed onion rings, so we go back and ask for a replacement of fries for the onion ring. She said no and we had to pay for it. I was shocked. I said “are you serious!” Because I literally thought she was joking. We were giving our card and Manager Lydia said if you’re going to be rude go to the other whataburger and shut the window. Wait! You were not paying attention when I stated the order to my son to which he repeated and 5 people heard order, then you make a mistake that you can’t even consider that you made. It was not rectified, then you are also so belatedly rude for zero reason. I’m normally an advocate for workers but this was so out of line for zero reason! Why are you mad at us because we are shocked you are telling us we have to pay for something we already paid for and just wanted replaced and on top of it we hand our card and you say go somewhere else!???? I think we are still in shock. Read reviews to find out there’s many complaints about same manager, not surprised…

I had a truly shocking experience at Whataburger with my family (all adults who witnessed the incident). When we placed our order, the manager, Lydia, seemed distracted and kept asking us to repeat our order. After we paid and received our food, we realized that we had been given fries instead of onion rings. We politely asked if they could just replace the fries with onion rings, as we didn’t want the fries. Lydia’s response was that we would have to buy an additional order of onion rings because she didn’t hear us request them. We were in disbelief. I even questioned her, saying “are you serious?” because it felt like a joke, but her response was completely serious. She told us to go to the Whataburger down the street.

In shock, we drove off and I called the location, but no one answered at first. When I finally spoke to Lydia again and asked for her name, she mentioned that our receipt said fries and not onion rings. Well, exactly—she misheard the order, and we were simply asking her to fix it by replacing the fries with the correct order of onion rings. She still refused, stating she wouldn’t make the change unless we paid for the onion rings again.

Although I was pretty annoyed by the situation, I kept it professional on the phone. However, Lydia continued to insist that her actions were justified and refused to acknowledge any mistake on her part. She was still "dying on that hill," as they say. She claimed that my questioning of paying for something we already ordered was rude, yet she was completely unwilling to make things right.

It’s hard to believe she felt our questioning was rude when she wasn’t even listening to us in the first place. We clearly said we wanted onion rings, and my son even repeated the order, but Lydia was too distracted to hear us. I’m honestly still in shock because we always treat people in the service industry with respect, and this was the most blatant rudeness I’ve ever encountered. After looking at the Yelp and Google reviews, it seems we’re not the only ones with issues involving management at this location. Lydia was defensive and unhelpful, claiming that we were rude for questioning why we should pay for something we had already ordered, yet she refuses to admit any wrongdoing.

To sum it up: This was the most unnecessary and rude interaction we’ve had at any fast food restaurant. We were simply trying to get what we paid for, and instead, we were treated with hostility. I hope this feedback helps improve service, but I’m still appalled by how it was handled.
