Well worth the try. Ambiance was was cool. Food was fantastic and I highly recommend a potato cake! Service was good and friendly. Restoring an old church and making it a restaurant is a fantastic idea. Kudos City of Midlo on your work on "Founder's Row". You all should visit.

The service was great but the food is very over priced for what you get We went for my husbands birthday I got the filet and it was over cooked they gave us a salmon spread with crackers that didn't have any flavor the fried alligator was very chewy and overcooked I really wanted to like this place it's really a cute place but for the prices i expected a lot more

We made another visit to Wilson's and it did not disappoint. Just like the first visit, the service was amazing and so was the food. We came on a Friday night and while it was busy, we were seated immediately. I just love the charm of this place. It's so cute. We ordered calamari as our starter and they brought us a complimentary order of firecracker shrimp to try. Both were good. For our meals, I ordered the stuffed fish and my hubby had the cedar plank salmon. I wasn't in love with my stuffed fish. It seemed like something was missing seasoning wise or maybe it was the type of fish. It wasn't bad but it wasn't my fave. My hubby enjoyed his salmon. Overall, we love this little hidden treasure and will continue to visit.

Short wait so over to the bar got a round of drinks. Out of house margaritas so next choice but to get the patron. Would’ve been nice if they added the patron to the drink. Over 30 for the 2 and almost 50 when you add a glass of wine and a bottle of beer whew. No appetizer this time but some of them looked really good. The cedar plank salmon was as good as advertised. The chicken sandwich huge and big helping of fries. And the pasta with shrimp, sausage and ham. So good! Lightly swimming in a flavorful sauce. And Sarah took great care of us. Really friendly on top of everything all with a big smile. Seemed very reasonably priced for the food and will be back to try other offerings. Oh and the shrimp spread that she brought us. I could’ve had just that. Slight hint of horseradish so good. Try this place out

He’s very off putting and the staff seemed stressed whenever he’s around, I’m a “Read The Room” type person just like my husband because we’re both ex military. With that being said the Owner Shawn doesn’t do Military or Police discounts. Who does that?

Take me to culinary church! Yes please! Wilson's Seafood in Midlothian, Texas is heavenly! A marvelous menu of Cajun-inspired seafood dishes (the owner, Shawn Wilson, told us about his dad's restaurant in New Orleans), includes decadent homemade desserts-the praline cheesecake oh my! and Texas-size steaks and veggies so fresh and served with gracious style! The service was superior, everything cooked to perfection! The charming church building brought over from Italy, Texas is absolutely precious! Clean and charming! I highly recommend Wilson's Seafood and Grill in Midlothian, Texas! Here's a pic of Shawn Wilson, owner and my cute hubby, my brother and the special asparagus Shawn prepared because he overheard me saying I was hungry for asparagus! That's service with style!
