“We came blowing in on July 4th apparently 5 minutes before they were due to close (holiday hours). Once we heard they were due to close, we would have graciously left to allow them to complete closing up, but instead were told to sit down and then proceeded to receive better service than we usually get at our favorite restaurants. “Food was good. Waitstaff not so much. Not very engaging of friendly. Just take the order and walk off while you’re still talking. Waitress was literally throwing menus on one table as customers were coming to sit down. Several people around us even commented how unprofessional that was. I’m probably the only one willing to speak out though. Small town folks want to be treated better than this.“
