“My wife and I are long-time fans of Kumori, having visited almost all of their locations, including those in San Antonio. After our recent visits, we can confidently say that the Kumori at Uptown Plaza is the absolute best of them all.
The food here is always on point and never disappoints. Whether it’s the freshness of the fish or the perfect seasoning of the cooked dishes, the consistency is incredible. Some of our must-order favorites include:

“We went here today for my granddaughter‘s birthday because she loves sushi. She had never been to this restaurant and me and my some other family members have been there a few times so I decided to take her there and it was phenomenal. The food was excellent as always, and they’re very professional. All the staff are very kind and considerate they made her day extra special. The owners are wonderful people to talk to everyone that works. There is so kind and considerate. They do an amazing job and they’re always on the spot with anything that you need. The food was phenomenal And the prices are excellent. I suggest everyone try out tsunami in Lakewood Ranch is beautiful inside and outside.“

“So far I have tried different dishes and all of them are so good! The ceviche so delish, it has a kick of spice, but enough to taste the flavor of the fish. If you are fan of octopus, as for the one that is grilled, so tender. What you see here is a Leche de Tigre that the wonderful chef Efren made for us. You can not miss this spot at McAllen, TX“

“It had been a minute since I had been here and let me tell you...the food was beyond amazing! They have extremely reasonable prices with very hefty portions of food and you will absolutely love it! “Food is super delicious ,hot, and fresh. Waitstaff is very unfriendly, you wait awhile before someone comes to the front entrance. Workers in the front are always on the phone or chatting away. Servers are ok, some don't come back to check for refills. But the food is delicious! Great price, great quality. Staff needs retraining, phones should never be out unless on a break. Other than that, we've never been disappointed with the food.“

“On my last and first visit I didn't have to wait to have a table for 4 people.
The service was good for a crowded place.
The waiting time to get our plates it wasn't bad.
The food overall was good, we ordered octopus soup, sushi, stuffed tilapia and shrimp whit tilapia.
I certainly recommend this place for those who love seafood.“
