“K&Z's offers the best and most authentic NY deli experience possible. (BTW, I am born and raised in NY) The quality and taste of the food is peerless. I can say without hesitation that the pastrami, stuffed cabbage and blintzes were the best I have ever had. The service is excellent. K&Z's must have a rigorous training program. All of their servers work very hard and are patently eager to please. I was struck how they all wear uniforms that are reminiscent of the wait staff from the halcyon days of the Catskills. K&Z's atmosphere is a unique and inexplicable blend of New York electricity, nostalgic charm and the kind of comfort one subliminally seeks when indulging in deli fare. The movie "Deli Man" focused on Ziggy for good reason. He is a master craftsman, omniscient in all things delicatessen and very much a mensch. It's not enough to simply recommend eating at this restaurant. I would recommend TRAVELING to eat at this restaurant... as I did.“

“Such a cute little spot full of history and delicious sandwiches! It's the oldest running Delicatessen in Houston and worth a visit! I recommend the homemade potato salad (they make their own mayo!) and if I wasn't so stuffed (because their sandwiches are HUGE) I would have tried the cream cheese jalapeno poppers and deviled eggs! They offer samples to ensure you enjoy what you eat, the staff is so friendly, and for desert: cookies and fudge balls! Thank you!“

“the sandwiches are on point. they come in a variety of "specialties" as well as a create your own. now that the gratuitous food r good rant is over. let me mention the staff at the particular westhimer location. they are phenomenal. I always get a warm welcome and great recommendations to make my lunch outstanding instead of just good. so swing through and grab lunch , but don't mess around too late, they close at 3“

“I had the best darn sandwich at Murphys Deli, 2800 Post Oak blvd, 77056! The flavors were on point, and the bread was toasted just right—total comfort food vibes. The staff were super chill and friendly, made me feel right at home. 10/10, would chow down again!“

“I come here during my break from VTI. When i first enrolled, all they would talk about is how good this deli is and honestly im in love with this deli. The owner and his worker are extremely sweet and kind, I love their Tuna melt, their food extremely affordable and the tuna melt is absolutely stuffed so its not like youre getting a thin spread. Everyone at the school orders from here and they never dissapoint. Id give them 10/5 stars☺️“

“I don't normally do 5 stars on all aspects but I must say they deserve it. I was here for training and I stopped by and got a Turkey Wrap. Everything was made fresh, I was greeted and walked through everything I had questions regarding. Everyone was friendly, the atmosphere was clean and nice and the best part the wrapped filled me up. I hate I forgot to take a picture when I first got it but I had the half left before I devoured it. If I'm every back this wag again, I will definitely be back. Loved everything about it. Oh and prices were great!“

“Hello everyone this spot is the best place to go eat pizza in Houston. They have a huge selection of toppings that you can add. This restaurant is build your own pizza and you can choose all the toppings you wants. They have gluten free Dough and the price per pizza is the best. Lots of time they have specials two pizzas for $9.99 The y have a soda fountain and several different types of lemonades that are very good. I love the 59 location MEX to Fondren because of the new management and their great customer service skills.“

Couldn’t figure out how to get inside the building but he was patient and sent someone to get me. Thank you! They are also a convenient store, having many bottled beverages and snacks outside of the deli.“

Always fresh with plenty to eat—good portions well served. Super friendly and helpful service, folks who like to work there and want you to enjoy it.
Food is excellent; my fave is one they make for me, the roast beef sandwich then add cooked peppers and onions of you want, put some mayo on it, dip in the beef juice and go to town.
I’ve tried a variety of items and they’ve been consistently high quality. Not always my preferred but always good to eat. I’ve recommended to a number of friends, all of whom have enjoyed it. Go for it, you won’t be disappointed (plus the free soft-serve ice cream is good too!).“
