“Myself and some friends are on a cross country trip and ended up being stuck in this little town for part of an afternoon and went to pick up lunch at the closest place. We all agree that our burgers were in the top 5 burgers we’ve ever had. Absolutely amazing. The owner was working the window and was super friendly and even gave us a couple pies as is their tradition for a first time visitor. I hope to find an excuse to one day venture the 1759 miles from my house to Bowie, Texas, just to have one of these burgers again.”

“My wife and I stayed 2 nights in Nocona at a nice place next door to 217Coffee. Good choice. We went to 217Coffee both days and were not disappointed. The coffee is excellent and the proprietors are as friendly as you expect in small town Texas. Light breakfast fare and great coffee should be enough to bring you in. If you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for?”

“every single time I pass through Bowie I stop at this Chicken Express. the food is always amazing like fresh tasting and absolutely delicious. which is amazing for this location but a pain in my rear whenever I head back down to West Texas or head up into Oklahoma and I try and stop it one of the other locations and the quality is nowhere close. whoever owns this place the love of God please go teach the other owners how to run their business I'm begging you.”

“Great place located downtown of bowie. We come here with our grandchildren and the staff are really great with our young kiddos. My opinion its the best pizza in town and really big portioned pastas we always have leftovers. The kids are obsessed with their Nutella pizza so we make sure to get one everytime we come. They play great music as well. I highly recommend trying this place you won't be disappointed.”

“Bathrooms were clean. Womens had 2 stalls and 1 sink but kept clean.EXCELLENT PIZZA!! I'm from Upstate Western NY, and THIS pizza here is as delicious as my favorite place in NY!! The price is also unbeatable! My daughter said the lady that made the pizza "needs a raise."The cashier was nice and patient as I had to run out to get more money.

Kid-friendliness: She talked with the children too, making them feel a part of the group, which we really appreciate.”

“Disappointed in our to go order we picked up today. Ordered kids cheeseburger and 2 onion strings appetizers which was $25 and some change. Get order home and opened the 2 onion strings only to find that there was the smallest portion of onion strings in each order for an appetizer. These are supposed to be appetizers and there wasn't even enough for a side. Was charged basically $18 for these.Called and talked to Mia who was helpful and said she would contact the manager. I took a picture of order as soon as we opened. Called back to be informed that if we brought the food back in would be the only way to receive a refund despite having a picture. We live 20 minutes from The Rack so not just a quick trip back. Over charged and shorted on order but I should bring it back. Don't think we will order from here again.”

“Stopped in yesterday for lunch with a friend. It was my first time in the area (her hometown) and glad we stopped in. They had some great choices. I went with the appetizer sampler to get a little bit of a few things. I really liked the beef empanadas and chicken flautas. My friend had the chicken quesadilla and that looked fantastic. I hope to stop in when in the area again.”

“Helpful staff. Yesterday (1-28-24) my husband was at the Sonic Bowie location. His vehicle wouldn’t start…. a male staff person noticed and offered to help ‘jumpstart’ his vehicle. (It was around noon and we think his name was Josh). Kiddos to Josh!”

“Worst restaurant in Bowie. Avoid at all costs. Used to spend $20-50 every week here. For 2 years, closed every time I go. Learned this is b/c owner refuses to pay minimum wage or work there. Tried for last time today, found sign taped to window saying they're closed after 4pm.”

“This is a nice sonic. The staff is always good to us. We watched them have an event for kids the other day and it made our week. To see the sonic come to life again. They seem to be having fun and it shows in the food and environment. They always know exactly what we want too. That makes us feel special. Becky and John”

“I had been boycotting this subway for the longest time. A few years ago i went in and had the experience many others who posted here had. The loud, complaining staff, with nothing that resembles customer service, to offer. But a few months ago a friend suggested subway and i took the gamble. My sandwich was surprisingly good. Hoping it wasn't just a fluke, I've returned three more times since then. Every experience has been positive. Today i went back in and encountered three happy ladies who seemed to be loving their jobs (well...one was that same dark-headed chick who is always complaining and wants the world to hear it, but i tuned her out to the best of my ability). But yeah, two very happy, friendly, smiling ladies behind the sneeze guard making conversation with me, as well as each other, and enjoying themselves. The sandwich was good but the attitude was superb.
If you've left a crappy review, i suggest to give Bowie Subway another try. Everything was fresh and all the condiment/veggie proportions were perfect.”
