The food is very high quality. We tried the coconut shrimp and the ceviche. The drinks are also great. Our server Michael provided great service! You do not have to stay at the resort to eat here. Highly recommend to check this restaurant out.

Gaby was efficient and kind, really outstanding!
The four star review is because of the limited menus and limited hours.
Also because lack of flexibility, I asked for the alfredo sauce to be replaced with marinara and the answer was they did not have marinara sauce.

Margaritteville location, food wasnt great. Burger was dry, lemon chicken had flesh smell. Charges on check higher then what reflected in the menu. Not going back.

Made reservation for a Thursday night, first night of our stay at the Margaritaville Resort on Lake Conroe in Texas. When we arrived, we found that the restaurant is not open on Thursdays. The restaurant confirmed the reservation with a text message the day of our reservation. So, we had to go elsewhere. We did eat there the next night and it was mediocre at best. To start with, we asked for glasses of Prosecco, and they were out of it. Then, we asked for a specific wine that is listed on their wine list. They were out of that as well. In fact, they were out of nearly all wines. Finally, they found some Prosecco at one of the other restaurants on the resort property. We ordered fries with our steaks, and they arrived without fries, but with beets! When we inquired, our server said fries are not an option on steaks. I said we would pay for them, and they brought us fries—which the server said would be no charge, which was nice. Overall, it was average at best. Not likely to return.

Food was not good, seemed frozen and not fresh. We ended up not eating which sucked because we spent over $80. Server was excellent, he was very nice and attentive. I would encourage better dishwashing, found lipstick stains all over the rim of my cup and pushed it aside, the other cups seemed to have stains on them…they didn’t seem clean. We will be eating at restaurants outside the resorts from now on.

Very nice ambiance but poor service. We made reservations online & they couldn't find them. We waited about 15 minutes before being acknowledged by the hostess & then waited another 15-20 min to get seated. They ran out of shrimp. They forgot one of our entrees and it arrived about 15 min after.

Even for a resort this was way over priced. The food tasted okay. Our server actually approached us ten minutes later and said she forgot she had us. The food runner brought us our appetizer, then asked if we wanted small plates to share. He then came back with one plate. I'm at a loss here for service. Ambiance was nice but that's the only real positive.

Not impressed with this location. There were dozens of black flies hovering our table. Absolutely no substitutions - when we asked to switch the sweet potato's, to the au gratin potatoes the waitress stated the charge would be would charge $14 for a side of potatoes! Absolutely Ridiculous. Towards the end of dinner our waitress seemed to have forgotten about us. We will not be going back.

We were waiting for 20 min to be served and nobody care for us...
