The food is great - consistently great. But the reason we go to McKenzies in Montgomery is the service. Every time we walk in, Amy makes a fuss over my 88-year-old Dad. She even gets my usually-quiet hubby to smile. We feel like we’re walking into Cheers. We go to dinner about once a week and Dad always wants to go to McKenzies. Thank you, Amy.

Their pulled pork was really good. Their brisket had a pretty good flavor, but something was very off about the texture. I don’t know if it had been frozen or what but it was mushy. I don’t mean, tender I mean the muscle fiber had a mushy mealy texture. It was just odd

The burger was great! Just what you want a burger to be. The onion rings, or onion strings really, were soooo good!! The ribs were tender and tasty as well. The fries were kinda limp. They were skinny fries, which is great, but they needed to be cooked longer. Will be back to try more!
