El Sazon De La Abuela Reviews
Excelente la comida 😋😋😋😉😉
Food lacked flavor & too salty. It missed the atmosphere of a true mexican restaurant. Flour tortillas were half cooked & raw in different sides. The comida corrida was not easy. Chicken mole had chicken but had a strong flavor. Breakfast was advertised at a price & given at another price ($2.00) more. Salsa lacked original flavor & was watery. The lemonade was the only thing I enjoyed. I wanted to try it since the other reviews were excellent. ..just wondering who posted them...read full review

El Sazon De La Abuela, meaning "Grandmother's Seasoning," is a beloved Mexican restaurant located on Route 84 in Muleshoe, TX. Known for its fresh, flavorful food, this establishment offers a variety of dishes, including Mexican shrimp platters, pork quesadillas, bean burritos, enchiladas, salads, and fajitas. Breakfast is especially popular, providing delicious options and good seasoning that fits the restaurant's name. Vegetarian options are available, and customers have praised the nachos for their great flavor, as well as tacos like the Tacos De Alambre and the huge birria tacos, which feature lean meat and exceptional taste. The restaurant is recognized for its excellent customer service, with guests highlighting the friendliness of the staff, including a helpful server who regularly checks on diners. Prices are affordable, with some customers noting they were pleasantly surprised by how much cheaper their meal was than expected. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, with pleasant medium-volume authentic Spanish music, making it a great place to enjoy a meal without the noise of chain restaurants. Standout items include the flavorful pupusas and the spicy diablo shrimp, and guests enjoy the crispy, non-greasy chips. Overall, El Sazon De La Abuela is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican food while passing through Muleshoe or nearby areas.
