“The place was empty when we stopped by during lunch hours. We ordered a couple of drinks at Feng Cha. The seasonal Summer Fantasy drink was packed with way too much ice, needed more fresh watermelon flavor, and the coconut cream clumped up instead of spreading evenly through the cup. We also ordered the Boba Milk Tea—while the brown sugar pearls had a great texture, the drink itself was quite weak and lacked a strong, robust tea flavor.“

“I judge a donut shop based on the taste of their donuts, their selection, and the folks working there - often the owners in a non-chain shop. Donut Bliss is a winner in all three. Every donut I've eaten there has been a great. They make cronuts - croissant donuts - and other fancier varieties. And the folks working there are always super-nice and it's obvious they appreciate your business.They aren't, I have to say, the cheapest donut shop. But for me, donuts are an occasional treat, and the quality is worth the cost!“

That said, I do think they’ve started going a little overboard with the sauce lately. It ends up overpowering the flavor and makes the dish a bit too salty. I also miss the smoky, charred sear they used to have — that subtle burnt aroma used to drive me crazy (in the best way). Still, despite the changes, it’s a spot I’ll keep coming back to. “I ordered the Mango Pomelo Yogurt drink, which reminded me of mango lassi but with little pieces of frozen mango and tapioca (or tiny boba—not sure what exactly). I saw some previous reviews on sweetness. I’m an American who has lived in Asia, so that being said, the first swig felt like it could use a touch more sweetness, but by the second slurp I was back in my Asian element & it was perfect. If you’re accustomed to super sugary drinks, this may not hit the spot, but I found it delicious and refreshing.“

The music they play is so great and we even got to play the crane machine. Only one kid was able to win a prize, but the workers were very kind and gave the other kid a prize. Made our day. “I tried their new Dirty Brulee Thai Tea and absolutely loved it! I customized it, and Chef Hameed made it extra special. He even packed everything with true white-glove care. I also ordered their Matcha and Tres Leches cakes — both were delicious.

Hameed was incredibly kind and helpful, and the cashier lady was very friendly. She guided me through the flavors and helped customize the sugar level and ice perfectly for my boba.

“Elevated Coffee & Tea is such a beautiful spot in the heart of Richardson. The space is clean, bright, and filled with natural light, plants, and a cute green-and-white aesthetic. It’s a great place to meet friends, although it can get a little loud when busy if you’re trying to work.

The Nami Kana latte with cold foam was my favorite, 9/10. The matcha was smooth, clump-free, and tasted high quality, while the cold foam was perfectly balanced. The Thai milk tea was good but a little too sweet for me, and the banana bread latte wasn’t my taste.

Overall, I loved the atmosphere and would definitely come back for the matcha.“

“Had a wonderful family dinner here recently.
The site was small but cozy. There was enough space for three to four large groups. The decor was themed to the culture. Very peaceful and serene.
Food had plenty of options for vegetarians and carnivores alike. Spice level was 0 to 5, 3 being somewhere in between. Good portion sizes. Three family members were able to split a soup (Tom Yum Noodle Soup) that they wanted to try. Had a small taste and it was great. All the dishes were brought separately (with the exception of the appetizers) so that they would be piping hot when served. The corn patties were a surprise. They were crispy but a little hard. The sauce they came with was sweet and vinegary. The milk tea drinks (mango, strawberry, thai coffee) were a little on the sweet side but had a great flavor and were super creamy.
The staff was nice and polite. There seem to be only one person managing the front. She did her best to make us feel welcomed.

“First time trying rice yogurt boba and decided to go with the classic: Purple Rice Yogurt.

The store is well decorated and cute. The owners are nice and friendly. The store is located around a central of other Asian stores, restaurants, and business. When I got my drink, it came in a cute little cup filled all the way to the top.

The drinks are a little on the pricer side and despite it being a small cup compared to regular boba shops, I found myself getting full on one cup alone (compared to a regular boba shop--one cup can be finished in 5 minutes and I'd crave more).

The drink was a little heavier compared to regular boba (because it is yogurt) and the yogurt was on the tartier side which I did not expect. The purple rice added a nice chewiness to the drink. I found myself having to chew in between sips to properly digest.

It's definitely unique if you are used to traditional boba milk tea albeit on the healthier side and if you can tolerate a little bit of tartiness.

I would come back and try their other items.

Edit: I tried another boba shop that sells purple rice yogurt and Yomie’s is definitely king! Yomie’s quality and quantity is definitely better. I can’t wait to come back and try another one of their items.“

A friendly call can go a long way and so can simply letting your customer vent. When all the other boba places close their doors, this place is still open making the best boba in town!
