“Murphy Braum’s is our hometown Braum’s, and it has become our favorite location because of Jesus the store manager and the Market staff.

Today I learned of a beautiful moment that happened here. A young man rode his bike to Braum’s for the first time to buy lunch with his own money—something new and meaningful for him. He stepped up to the counter with $7.00, which wasn’t quite enough for his meal. Instead of turning him away or making him feel the shortfall, Jesus quietly made the $7.00 work in the moment so the young man could leave with his lunch and his dignity intact.

It reminded me of the story in the Gospels where a boy offers Jesus five small loaves and two fish—far too little for the crowd—and instead of dismissing the gift as insufficient, Jesus receives it with grace and multiplies it into more than enough. In the same spirit, Jesus chose grace over condemnation, service over self, and showed the most loving expression of selflessness.

I cannot fully express how that moment touched me, but this review is about Jesus. Thank you for the kindness, the character, and the care that make this location feel like home.

“All of the 1 star reviews here are poor people who want $1 scoop of ice cream. You want $1 scoops, jump in your Time Machine and go to 1964. While you’re at it, wait until 1965 when BR was founded and give Burt & Irv a kiss for me. This right here is the definition of get what you pay for. It’s a premium and worth every penny. The texture of their ice cream is perfection. You get creaminess, you get chew. The flavors are perfect. In fact, sampling made it harder because everything I tried was so good. And I saw a review someone gave a 1 star because they got the wrong ice cream, whoopty do Karen, people make mistakes. Just get another scoop. It’s ice cream for god’s sake, not your sugary Starbucks order to make you feel better about your crumbling marriage due to your husband’s inability to find you attractive that was caused by your sugar addiction to begin with. Anyway, 5 stars. This is better than Braums ice cream.“
