Great food. Got the small fried fish and shrimp. The portions were more than enough and the food was fresh and hot when it was served. The pinto beans, cole slaw, hush puppies and fries were really good (?)The fish has a little bit of spice to it, but the tartar sauce mellowed it out a little. The jumbo shrimp were just right with the cocktail sauce.

Stopped into the Clear Springs restaurant on our way home to Ontario from the Texas RGV. Excellent place for a great meal. Our server, Laura, was very pleasant and helpful in our choice of food. My wife had the fish and chips, and I had the catfish. Both were delicious. Sides were French fries, coleslaw, hushpuppies, and charro beans. We would stop in again.

A Nacogdoches staple. If you go to Nac, you gotta go to Clear Springs. The chicken fingers and gravy will melt in your mouth and remind you of a better time. Walk through that screen door and you'll have to brush the memories away from your face like fire flies on a warm summer evening.

Great food and atmosphere. Service was wonderful and very attentive! We were visiting the area for work and ended up eating here twice during a short stay it was so good!
There was mold on the table I was eating at and I let it slide and came back tonight weeks later and there is still mold on the tables being covered by a plastic cover it is digusting kids eat here
