Friendly people, nice atmosphere, but the food. Oh my goodness. If you are not into competitive eating, I must warn you away from the Texas sized chicken fried steak. It is massive. Wonderfully delicious, I was worried I would go into a food coma 😴 😴 WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING.
There is almost no better place for a family mom and pop resturant. The staff remember your name, your family, they make small talk when acceptable, accommodate for children (ie not putting hot drinks in front of them, asking if its okay to put food in front of them) alowing special requests apart from the menu. Service has always been fast even when busy, ive never had a bad experience only strong coffee, friendly staff and great food.
Overall nice place. The food was good...flaky biscuits,fresh omelet...my son didn't like the sausage in his sausage gravy. I thought it was okay. Pecan waffle was yummy. Friendly staff.
