Went in for a steak, but I'm not paying $57.00 for a 16 Oz ribeye. The other steaks were only 10 Oz, so I didn't get a steak. I ordered the chicken breast with a side salad and mashed potatoes. My salad came out about 7 minutes after my entree. The chicken was a little dry, and the mashed potatoes were mediocre, the gravey needs work. My wife got the fried shrimp and gave me one, I wished I had ordered shrimp instead. The waitresses were worked their butt's off, all of them hustling. I might try it again one day, but definitely not impressed.

This place has really gone down as far as service goes. You can't even call in a to go order. Then the place closes their kitchen early though the hours say two hours later! Don't go here, it's a waste of time!!

Update: We stopped by on our way back home yesterday and the little blonde lady has redeemed this place. She was very attentive and paid close attention to us. She heard me say I was bringing half my food to go and she brought out a Togo box without being asked to do so . Our drinks were never empty and she was very sweet. The ladies never stood idol and they provided excellent customer service!! They worked like a well oil machine. Something you don’t see with the younger generation. They were very presentable and well put together. (What you expect when you are paying $40 to $50 for lunch) They definitely deserve a raise!! The food was excellent and I am glad to see they have excellent help to go with the excellent food!

I have really debated about leaving this review! We ate lunch there Thursday and we had a young lady with short brown hair. When we arrived she screamed across the restaurant. Good morning. It was very loud and intrusive. We sat down and we ordered our drinks and had to wait at least 10 minutes before she ever brought our drinks. We actually had to ask another young lady to grab them for us. We ordered our food and she never brought our salad and never once refilled our drinks. An older lady brought out our food got our condiments and refilled our drinks. They weren’t very busy so I’m not really sure what was going on. We asked for to go box that we never received. We had to ask for our check three times and she never brought it. Finally, another young lady had to bring it to us. When I asked for a manger she said “we don’t have one!” I just feel like for what things cost service should be a little better

We went for lunch after going thru Hurricane Beryl. The staff was very nice, the food tasted great with nice sized portions served. The prices were fair as well. This establishment also has a Dance Hall and Saloon with live entertainment, which is seperate from the Restaurant and bar area. We didn't get to check that part out as it was too early. I can't wait to go back. It's a really nice place with a great dining experience.

Food is always good. The burger is of good proportion, the chicken fried steak fills the whole square plate, and the fried catfish is great. Service is always friendly, and the rustic setting provides a calm environment.

Very nice clean place to go & eat then relax. Brown sugar band was there & was a great band . The dance floor was very nice too.
