Finally, I can say that I've eaten at Bobby's Homestyle Cooking, and it did not disappoint!!! My deceased parents ate lunch there frequently and always raved about it, and my family enjoys it regularly, and yet I had never had the opportunity to eat there myself, until yesterday! My meal was absolutely delicious! In spite of my skepticism of ordering gumbo from a restaraunt (my family makes fabulous gumbo & it's hard to measure up), I ordered the gumbo. WOW!!!...
Anywhere that gives you a whole pitcher of tea is a winner in my book!!!
Service was a little slow because they were busy. Food was good not great but endless tea is all I need.

My favorite sides are: smothered cabbage, green beans, mustard green, pinto beans, and mashed potatoes.
And let’s not forget about the CORNBREAD! It’s consistently perfect...
