I eat here once or twice every week. It’s always consistently good. Their super deluxe nachos are my favorite. The caldo is also delicious. Really can’t go wrong with anything. Just good Tex-mex in a local historical restaurant. Check the hours - it’s family run so they aren’t open late hours on Saturday and are closed on Sundays.

I like how they include the cinnamon sugar fried tortillas with the chips and salsa.
The carne guisada is pretty good. I'd asked about what the "gravy" was made of/from, and the waitress was unsure. I have intolerances to quite a few food items, and I'd prefer more description. The rice and beans are standard, but great.
